  • Here's my take on Yung Bae's style. Incredible producer and songwriter so I hope this does it justice.
    Hope you learn something new or simply enjoy the music. Have a great day 😀
    The videos I make are me doing my best to teach what I’ve learned. I am by no means an expert at music production, so if I make mistakes or give misinformation please tell me! Still trying to learn and improve so I can be a more effective content creator and teacher. Cheers!

    I think you went on like 80% of the overall vibe, which is a great result.
    Didn't hear Yung Bae in a long time so probably his sample free modern style is closer to the one you emulated here, but as far as I can remember what gave "the sauce" to Future Funk were the artifacts generated from sampling old funk songs and giving them the French House heavy pumping sidechain / Vaporwave touch, which usually is a combination of the lo-finess given by the original sampled track due to being an old 70s/80s record and the process of time-stretching / pitch shifting the whole track faster than it was originally.
    Great job as I said, just wanted to give some more insight on the topic :)

    Great tutorial - especially for me just starting out in future funk prod.
    I'd love to know where you got the song starter sample and the best way to keep an eye out for similar things when they drop/are released! I couldn't find the exact sample on Splice unfortunately.

      Glad you liked it! If you're on splice, go to Sounds of KSHMR Vol. 4 and search for the songstarter loop "saturday night". It's 115bpm and in D minor

    I would like to know how to mix and master the whole track

      @nonweary  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      My mix and master on this is pretty simple. I have a few multi band compressors stock ableton (Standard multi band, OTT, and Multiband compression) all at about 7%. Then I have a limited at the end pushing the volume to 9 Lufs
