I’ve been grooming almost 25 years (2nd career). I enjoy your videos. What impresses me the most is the way you handle the dogs. Most people don’t understand how tiring and stressful it can get. Keeping control while still showing compassion is something you can’t teach. You either have it or you don’t. You have it. I’m almost 70 and I just can’t give it up yet. I think you are an amazing groomer!

Growing up, my mother had a little business in our basement in the 80's called Pine Tree Dog Grooming. She ran it for a few years. I loved helping out and she had quite the clientele with a few challenges. From really sweet natured pulis to nippy pekingese and every breed in between! I'm still fresh out of school, working with a mentor, and I like watching videos like yours as an inspiration.. not only for the cuts themselves, but as a guide how to handle more difficult behaving dogs. I still have a long way to go, and my cuts are not perfect by any means.. but it's refreshing to see we all started somewhere 😅 I WISH I was as good as you are. Now I just take him in and he loves his baths and does really good. I'm surprised that some people don't tip because that's a hard job. I make sure to always give a $20. I watch your videos because I love your personality and I think you are so funny at times.😅 I have a poodle that I've tried to grome my self and after 3 hrs I feel like my back is going to snap in half so much respect for all the dog groomers out there. Now I just take him in and he loves his baths and does really good. I'm surprised that some people don't tip because that's a hard job. I make sure to always give a $20.
