going to the BIN FFT option instead of Harmonic and then press "random" actually gives you more variety due to more bands. Hit Random and then slowly move "NSWEEP" dial for a cool phaser effect
Jon you are killing it just now with these Avenger tutorial, super helpful, can’t thank you enough… aargh the arp tips are gold… Berlin school incoming!
I really appreciate these videos. I definitely need to use Avenger a lot more. The number nine Tip sounded great. I will try to recreated that with both the sounds you made layered. That was awesome.
That's so awesome to hear!! It's a really really good synth, it's honestly been the main one I'm using nowadays, it sounds great and I love the workflow!
Because of you I'm really thinking in getting VPS Avenger 2. You have to many good videos about it! Any chance that you can make content about how to make Northlane kind of synths? It is really Matrix vibe sound but in modern metal, it would be awesome
It's a really awesome synth! It's became my main one I use for just about everything now. Send me some references so I can take a listen, might be able to do that
Very interesting, thank you. In Bitwig, can the controller for different instruments be divided into zones using the selector as well? Just like you did in your video?
@@jonaudio I'm not very good at English, but I think so. In your 16:00 video, you show areas for different instruments. My question is about using the selector in Bitwig and using Bitwig's own tools or third party tools. Is that possible?
Yeah I switched over to bitwig back in January of this year. Since switching to bitwig I've written some synthwave stuff th-cam.com/play/PLt0_C1pkArqIPo0vP0R8jz_eaBkaKD2FK.html
I first used FL Studio in 2003/2004 and then switched to pro tools in 2011 then back to FL around 2015 but only for writing music, then to bitwig this year. I still use all three depending on what I'm doing, but for writing songs its 100% bitwig now

Thanks dude! Yeah with number 9, you can always come up with a cool sounding waveform
great tips Jon, you are realy an avenger wizard, cheers man
Haha hell yeah!!
For macro knob instead of menu diving you can just drag and drop macro into the modulation matrix to modulate the amount ;)
That's right! And way faster than the menu!
Love these tips. Your Avenger tutorials got me to dust off Avenger and give it a second chance, and I'm loving it. What a beast.
Hell yeah!! Avenger is amazing! It's a great sounding instrument with soooo many tricks up its sleeve

Not only is mousewheel a life saver, but SHFT+scrolling will do smaller steps 💯

@@jonaudio th-cam.com/video/vIV8oVN-Rmk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=JjHwWOmNZMPdBBqQ I am trying to figure out how to create this kind of dark matter sound.
Very interesting, thank you.

Do you mean with native bitwig tools to make key zones for different instruments?
