    I'm sure it was done behind the scenes but a small reminder for everyone seeking for improvement: always train your both sides, especially the non preferred one. It's always awesome when you perform katas or other exercises to see symetrical executions for both left and right sides, just like we can see to these awesome Team Ki guys.

      Victor Tarhon-Onu We absolutely agree. And for the „weak“ side we reccomend to do a few more reps 👍

    Make a video on hip movement and how to not move your foward foot for different stances like the cat stance, deep stance, etc... (Whilst doing the hip turning ).
    Do it for forward movement and sideways , this could be benificial for many of us

    First, very nice tips for stretching....thank you for that, but ..... please remember that if you are doing Shotokan Katas you would have to keep the right techniques, I mean you are changing Yoko Geri Keage in the Kata samples to Yoko Geri Kekomi!, Gankaku is ok, but the other ones you have to check it out .... thank you!

    I have a few questions that i would appreciate if you can answer them .
    Does your passive stretching exercises are perform at full intensity or just light ?
    Why do you preffer do your stretches at the begining ?
    Why not using dynamic stretches?
    At the end of your training session do you do passive stretching again?
    Thanks for your attention

      luis Salazar All our Videos are based on our experience and which works for us. But every one of us is different and maybe other ways works better for you. This workout is a separate one and therefore I am doing the stretching in the beginning and I try to go to my limits like in every training 😉

      @KenSato-IljaSmorguner  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Dear Emanuele, in general you are right, but in this case it´s not a regular strentgh training. I`m doing the stretching before the shown exercises, so that I first work on my flexibility. But this is my personal way I´m doing this and maybe there are better ways to do that ;)

      Do not open your mouth (unless in kiai obviously :P)
      You shouldn't smile or really frown hard and tense up, just keep a neutral face or a small frown
      Look straight and to the direction of the technique (there are some exceptions but this is a rule of thumb)
      And do not look up or down or sideways from the technique (there are also exceptions for it)

      It is a big different also in muscles involved
