Ahhh - Terminal 4! I've been there maybe once or twice, flying JetBlue or maybe Delta. I forgot Emirates moved out from Terminal 2 due to Construction. Terminal 2 was much older and there truthfully wasn't much. The Emirates gates there were always in a corner where nothing else existed except a ton of passengers. The Emirates 777, as you'll cover in your next video I guess, is nice. However, the A380 is in its own class. If I had known, I'd also tell you that the standard 2.5 hour halt in Dubai is truthfully more than enough. I've done that flight plenty of times and you can browse through Duty Free for like 5 hours (never did that - but did spend 24 hrs in Dubai as part of a layover). I think because of the timing of the flights, the standard halt makes sense. Also worth noting that the flights with the 2.5 hour halt in both directions end up arriving into JFK at around 2:30pm whereas the other flights have stranger arrival times + have the unexpected halt in Milan. It's the same thing flying Emirates to Newark, where there is that extra stop in Athens, but you end up arriving at 10pm and thus is a much longer flight time.
Terminal 4 has Delta and mostly international airlines like Virgin Atlantic, Etihad, Emirates, El Al, Etc. and Terminal 2 is much older. We love T4 cause it is wide open to walk and find a seat. We had made shorts on trip on A380 last year so wanted to try a different aircraft. Will go back to A-380 next. We did a few hours in Dubai on our way to Lahore Pakistan and about 24 hours on the way back so have a few videos lined up. We also have a video explaining that unexpected stop in Milan and Athens called a Technical Stop. We found it interesting to break the flight but prefer an uninterrupted flight next time. Atleast we have chocolates from Milan and Athens :) so stay tuned for our flight and layover videos coming this week.
The lounges we have experienced are not super exciting (mostly priority pass lounge). T4 has a beautiful Delta Sky Club but we haven’t used that yet th-cam.com/video/USvvgcPa0lU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=J57RIH7U3_bv7kcv th-cam.com/video/AJ1M08ZRQBQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MkO-DPhe1I-23md4 th-cam.com/users/shorts-5x4P5Gs948?si=twbXxmDPyg0XpPun th-cam.com/video/_e4RUovkTD4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bwvv99rnyoSHPoBD
Thank you 🙏. As for JFK Terminal 4, when TSA Pre is open, it is great and very fast (5-10 mins in our experience on crowded days). We just flew last weekend to El Salvador and Panama and our flight was at 3am. When we got to the security lines at 9:30pm, TSA Pre had closed. The regular lines were very long but luckily someone told us about family line at the end which made a 40 min down to just 5mins. So in short it varies but overall a good process. Hope this helps
I love her outfit! Could you tell me where it's from? The top, pants, and shoes please. I would appreciate it. Also, I enjoyed the review on terminal 4, very helpful.
Thank you. Glad you liked the review and the outfit. Here is the link to the Outfit a.co/d/b3hubu6 and the shoes are Steve Madden Chunky similar to this a.co/d/8GKju6p
Great video as always 👍🏽. Was this video made before the new Sapphire lounge opened in T4 (which you could get in w/the CSR), or is the family just massive Shake Shack fans (I am as well 🙂)?
Thank you! We are Shake Shack fans but even bigger lounge fans and we do have a Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card. This was back in end of November so I assume prior since we didn’t see Chase Sapphire Reaerve lounge at T4. We are only aware of the new lounge in LaGuardia
@@KhizEesa There’s a Sapphire lounge in both JFK and LGA (the LGA one is larger). It’s 2 free guests with the CSR & $27 for additional guests. If a family of your size or bigger frequents the lounge (or other PP lounges) enough, I think a good hack would be to get an authorized user card for the spouse at $75/yr, since it comes w/it’s own PP w/guests. You end up coming out ahead financially after 3 visits a year 👍🏽.
That is a great tip to share. But no, this was not even when they checked our boarding pass. I didn’t get TSA Pre on my Emirates boarding pass for some reasons so I went to the regular line and because it was too long, they took 30 people out and took them to ground floor security.
Do you know the best option to get from terminal 4 to terminal 7 for a connecting flight? I've heard uber, but I would prefer not to leave the airport. Thank you
Excellent question. We have only used AirTrain which is free to use within the airport system. There was some disturbance where AirTrain wasn't stopping at Terminal 1 but they had buses. We didn't hear any issues with Terminal 7. You can see the map and read more here www.jfkairport.com/to-from-airport/air-train Hope this helps and safe travels
Great tour of T4 JFK, thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Glad you found it helpful
Wonderful video of your experiences at JFK . I just love everything about NYC . So enjoyable to see how you are so good to your children.
Glad you enjoyed it! And Thank You 😊
When I was at JFK leaving from to DFW but my flight got delayed for eight hours, but DFW they had a game area for waiting flights
That is a neat idea
Absolutely loved this video and your beautiful family. Will be in JFK in September, so thanks!
Thank you for your kind words and glad you enjoyed the video. Safe travels
Thank you. I will be terminal 4 again on November 🎉😊
Have a nice trip and have a nice weekend ✈️🛫🧳🏖️🏝️👍🏻
Thanks, you too! Thanks for stopping by our channel
2:12 shake shack is a good choice !
Wow, I haven't been to JFK since 1988. Everything changed. I had to look on an airport map to see where T 4 is located.
That is a very long time. We love T4 with it's variety of restaurants and huge gates and nice seating area.
I flew out of 8 last year but im flying out of 4 this year for europe. I love exploring airports. Also i love looking at gates and stores
Thing we can totally relate with. We also love looking at gates, shops, restaurants, aircrafts, etc.
I will be going termnail 4 in august thanks
Safe travels
I like to do crossword puzzles on flights also! 🤗
Love it 😍🤗

Great vid as always, I was wondering what the TSA checking process was like, how long etc…

Did your boarding has “SSSS” on it? If it is then that’s how you’ll know that you have been selected for extra screening by TSA.

Most welcome and it wasn’t a huge deal at all. But an interesting experience

Can I arrive terminal 4 JFK 12 hours before my flight
It kinda looks like the Tom Bradley terminal at LAX
Yes, that makes sense. We should do a side by side walkthrough comparison
First?
Yes you are
