Planning on a trip to the lakes in June with my Super Cub 125 or Rebel 1100 to do the six passes. I would prefer my Cub as the single track roads are easier with a slim 125 than my Rebel 1100, I did the NC500 and Applecross pass was easy on the 125 as it is so slim you can squeeze past on most single track roads, unlike the big adventure bikes .
After my second VanVan, a friend decided to get one as well but he ended up passing his test before me and on to a bigger bike. But while we both had them together, we thought it would be fun to take them cross-country and up Kilpurnie Hill, Perthshire to see if we could reach the Tower. We got permission from the local farmer and off we went. After what felt like 3 hours, we got there! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinpurnie_Hill
Van Van can climb anything! Had one for a couple of years and loved it. Great video
Cheers mate, yes seems to take on anything i throw at it 👍
My garage right there, a Van Van and a Divvy, two excellent motorcycles, nice video ;)
Cheers mate! Yes two very reliable bikes 👍
Well done mate
Cheers mate
Did you find the old telephone box ? Great video. Did the same route on my Forza 350.
Just been up this weekend on my H100. So much steeper than it looks in any videos but an amazing ride. 40 year old drum brakes were shocking on it.
It really is soo much steeper! Oh blimey 40 year old drums!! 😳 glad you made it 🤣👍

Sounds like you will have an epic adventure with whichever bike you will choose! I would say choose the one which gives you the biggest smile 👍

That's quality! Love an adventure. And it doesn't matter what bike you're on. All that matters is the freedom of being on 2 wheels
Respect for doing that on a 125
Cheers mate 👍
