Hi, interesting video, thanks. I ride a 350 classic which is very similar to yours and have gone down the accessory route too, I did have heated grips but took them off and bought heated gloves which work a treat. Keep riding and filming, happy new year!
Thanks mate, can I ask, why did you remove the heated grips?
Is this bike comfortable for you? Seems very slow bike.. but beautiful looks .. can't make a decision with it
It's not quick, but it will do 70mph, and it gets up to 50mph quite well, depends what you will be using it for.
@@user-kricks get on one for a test ride, even if it's as a pillion, if you're an autobahner you will have to look elsewhere.
Hello ,I have the same model as yours, great bike. Were lucky guys. As far as heated grips , a better option would be heated gloves ,they warm the whole hand not just the palms. Have fun.
Hi mate, yes I was thinking this, there's just so many options, do you recommend any?
@millsonwheels4528 I I only have installed heated grips on my kawasaki, they work well but I will use heated gloves here on in. Tiger Ness has an interesting set up, vest pants and gloves running off the Enfield battery.
@@newlife155 ah brilliant, I will take a look 👍
What is the bag on the LHS? And how is it attached to your Bullet? Another pannier rail? Tnx.
These are the givi corium setup, it has a buckle system which fastens under the seat 👍
when milleage is something, economic 250cc is enough for a ride
Bike looks loverly, I bought the bronze classic, seeing yours with all the extras makes me wish I'd of got the Bullet, may I ask the make of the screen, it looks taller than the stock one?
It’s the royal enfield touring screen, I think it was about £110. The bronze classic is a lovely looking bike!
Thanks ill get one they look lovely
Toured Scotland a few times on my efi 500 enfield. It can tour but it has limitations.
Nice! I bet that was perfect for the Scottish roads though 👍
@millsonwheels4528 it was okay on some, I found that lorries were trying to kill me on some coubtry roads and it's not very good on motorways, my perspective. Traded her in for something else and at times I miss the 500 for bimbling about roads in county Durham etc
@davidbell3016 what did you end up getting?
Great video! I really loved my classic red/Chrome!
That red/chrome classic is beautiful
Just finished watching your great ride with the bigger machines. I was worrying that my Bullet wouldn't survive with my big bike riding buddies. No worries.
Just watching your video. I have just parked my 20 day old Bullet till March 2025, sad . Haven't finished watching the full video but looking good so far. Don't get heated grips, better heated gloves, they heat the whole hand and not just the palms. Speaking from experience.
Thanks for the advice, I will look into that 😊 hope you're enjoying your bullet
Good on you that was great! Fantastic roads and that view in the end was bloody brilliant 😃 And great to see it holding its own on the motorway, no problem 😎
Gorgeous bike mate! Love your channel name. Mills is my surname and I've got a couple of bullet 500s, just love them! Cheers from Tasmania 😎
Thanks mate! Really appreciated, 500 bullet! Love it, bet that proper thumps along!
Great video, but I feel more like I'm there with you when the music stops. Thanks for confirming it can do motorways in comfort. Sub'd.
I enjoyed the video. I an in Northampton and know the Kimbolton road well. The Bullet sips fuel and manages the motorways ok.
Cheers mate 👍 yes it really does
Peak district is one big bikers playground. Itts wonderful pottering through on a RE.
You're absolutely right 😊
Up until last week I was riding from Mid Devon to London on mine, via the A303 round trip 380 miles a week. Given up now, not the bike too dark and cold. They run on fumes and the most comfortable bike on the road.
Blimey! Good effort 👍
Really nice video. Good luck with the channel!
Thank you, really appreciated 😊
Yours is the most beautiful one of the bikes ;-)
Thank you 😊
Seen you overtake a car on a RE 350, gasp.
Took alot of momentum and a bit of down hill 😅😂
This is a piece of art. May be this bike is not the best technologically but according to me this is the most beautiful motorcycle ever produced ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Everything is proportional.thie bike can make even Triumph Bonneville T 120 black look ugly.
I agree, it is a good looking motorcycle 👍 puts a smile on my face! 😊
What is that accessory on your handlebar, is it a tripper navigation. Can you provide any details.
It's the beeline moto 2, really good bit of kit 👍 I will try and do a video on it
It’s a great bike I had one did 1200 miles on it from new , now waiting for the new Vulcan S 650 2025..I can understand why people like them..😎
Nice mate! Bet you can't wait!
@ correct not had a bike for 18 months now 🥂
The bike looks great ! 👏👍😀🏍
Cheers mate 👍 😊
@ forgot to add I’ll be getting a R.E classic 350 soon. I’m 60 now, in my life I’ve owned many, many bikes and covered getting on for 500,000 miles, I now want something, simple, comfortable, reliable and with character, I think the classic 350 fits the bill perfectly as living in North Yorks and being a keen photographer I want to be able to stop wherever I want and take photos, not always possible to stop in a car on the small roads we have up here! All the best, ride safe and don’t get carried away when riding in groups of bikes, I know too well it’s easy to get carried away, lol. 👏👍😀🏍
Thats awesome mate, you've got to love that 350 engine! Does everything I need, and more. Well you definitely have some beautiful roads and scenery for photography. Cheers mate, and yes I know what you mean about riding in groups. So easy, I'm hoping with the 350 that will calm me down 🤣 take care mate and ride safe
On a big bike it's boringly easy. To ride 'progressively' on a smaller bike you have to be more skilled and smooth, is all ;^)
You're absolutely right!!
Just found your channel mate. I have two Enfields plus an old pan. I used to live in Bedfordshire now in Cornwall. I love the roads around Kimbolton area. I do have you tube as well. How do you get on with screen i am thinking about getting one for my classic
Oh blimey, not far from me at all. Yes some lovely roads around here, although I'm sure you have even better roads where you're now. I get on with the screen really well. Although I'm only 5ft 8. So not sure how it would be if you were taller. What enfields do you have?
Been touring with bigger bikes on my 350 classic for a couple of years now. Away from motorways it’s absolutely fine. All day comfortable, remarkably economical and utterly charming to ride. Done Spain to Normandy, tour of Brittany, tour of northern France and John O Groats to Lands End, no issues at all. 13,000 miles so far, loosened up after 3000 miles. This one will be with me for years.
Sounds like some amazing tours! You're absolutely right about the motorway stuff though. Glad you're loving the classic, especially after all them miles 👍
Your little Bullet did remarkably well. Well done! Ride safe.
Cheers mate 👍
Hi mate Brit immigrant to France chrome red classic rider, great road bud spot on ride I’ve got 8k + km up on mine run in carefully and will hold 100kph all day even 2 up with luggage, perfect around here on D roads and the odd rout national, even a autorout on a good day, looks like you had a good trip 👍 Pete🇫🇷 PS the motor doesn’t really loose up and come into its own until you have 2500km up 😊
Hi mate, I must admit the chrome red classic has to be one of the best of the 350 classic colours, looks stunning. Thanks for the info mate 👍 hope you're enjoying it in france 😊
Ey up Nice one, I love the Peak District, but then I may be biased
Beautiful part of the world
Comfortably do 65/70. 75mph sometime 👍 but that's after 1500miles of gentle running in
what is your cruising speed on the highway? looks like a great trip!
Love your enthusiasm doing this challenge on a totally inappropriate motorcycle I’ve done LEJOG and completed 1179 miles in under 24 hours and that was on a 1000 cc BMW and I had to be helped off the bike I hurt everywhere wouldn’t have considered it on a 125
Yes I know what you mean, but this was my uncles bike, that passed away, so really wanted it to do it on that bike.
Castle Donnington superbike store is better also a long way round to see the Peak District, the Peak District is in my backyard so confused about the route planning, but you did cover some of the better roads
I will have to check out that superbike store next time 👍 I think we did that route just to accommodate places we needed to go. Have you an ideal order you would do the route in?
Is there such a thing as a good superbike factory ?
@pggp273 to be honest I've never used one, but seemed decent if you want to look at a wide range of bikes
Bike went well, sounds nice 👌
Went really well 😊
You didn't buy a Himalayan then?
I did have one for a couple of months, but ended up getting a bullet 350 👍
Large displacement ADVs are a trap. Your friends bikes are too heavy to be good offroad and completely outclassed on pavement by even simple sport touring bikes. Get the himalayan. It's a solid bike.
Just been up this weekend on my H100. So much steeper than it looks in any videos but an amazing ride. 40 year old drum brakes were shocking on it.
It really is soo much steeper! Oh blimey 40 year old drums!! 😳 glad you made it 🤣👍
hi your a young man how can you be tired im 64 years old and do 1000s of miles in my truck and have to unload dutch trolleys on and off my truck every day dont get chance to ride my bike these days on the. 80s & 90s used to do 60,000 plus miles minimum on bikes o f all sizes from 100 cc -600cc but well done on the van van lovely little bike but most my bike were much older then van van i know someone who has the 200cc van from Australia john
just watched this, outstanding achievement on a 125
Did you find the old telephone box ? Great video. Did the same route on my Forza 350.
Awesome.
After my second VanVan, a friend decided to get one as well but he ended up passing his test before me and on to a bigger bike. But while we both had them together, we thought it would be fun to take them cross-country and up Kilpurnie Hill, Perthshire to see if we could reach the Tower. We got permission from the local farmer and off we went. After what felt like 3 hours, we got there! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinpurnie_Hill
That's quality! Love an adventure. And it doesn't matter what bike you're on. All that matters is the freedom of being on 2 wheels
Awesome! Thats an amazing effort, especially on a 125. Congratulations! The tune that came on around 15 mins after entering Scotland was a lovely bit of music that suited the footage brilliantly.
Cheers man, yes I'm soo glad I found that bit of music 😊
No joke, I shouted to my wife, "It's a van van." I love these bikes !
Haha love that! They're amazing bikes!
Wtf is that a 50ccm?
125
I came to say these exact words.😂.
Can take a campervan over there, no problem
The fact you done this on a deceased family members old125 is brilliant!!! every other bike I saw could eat the mile's up no worries he's definitely looking down on you with a smile mate bloody good on you!!! Enjoyed watching you ❤
Thank you so much, really means a lot!
@@millsonwheels4528fair play mate
Absolutely boring as 🥱🥱🥱
Why did Dave go ?
His front fork seals went on his multistrada, so he had to go and get them repaired, he joined us again later on 👍
Planning on a trip to the lakes in June with my Super Cub 125 or Rebel 1100 to do the six passes. I would prefer my Cub as the single track roads are easier with a slim 125 than my Rebel 1100, I did the NC500 and Applecross pass was easy on the 125 as it is so slim you can squeeze past on most single track roads, unlike the big adventure bikes .
Sounds like you will have an epic adventure with whichever bike you will choose! I would say choose the one which gives you the biggest smile 👍
