It saved my life. I was goin crazy. In my case a guy on a gas station didn’t know very well how to use the hose, and basically washed the motor. I could disassembly it as shown in the video and perform a few tests. New motor is on the way. Congrats.

Exactly the same happened to me. Perhaps dust perhaps the cold, anyway now it's working. Thanks you so much: really great video. Just an advice who wants to fix by themselves: if it's really cold outside the plastic covers can be harder of usual and you can break some little, but important hitch slats. Warm the car with air conditioning before to unmount. Thanks for the video!!!!!
Mine failed today. It didn't unlock. so I couldn't put fuel. Luckly there's some fuel, enough to try to disable it tomorrow and put some fuel before the part arrives. Thanks from Portugal
@@BbrosAuto @BbrosAuto well, turns out I didn't get to replace it. I released the plastic covers and moved the isolation apart a bit. It started working, so it might have been a bad wire connection. Let's see. Note that in case of emergency you xan reach it via the cover used to release the lights. If you have small hands, just aim left and pull the handle. It will open the cap.

Also you can search online just try ; fuel filler cap actuator motor Renault scenic 3. I see there are some in UK but shipping is price to EU mainland. If you want I can contact the seller I bought it from on Ebay and see if he will be getting it soon. I think it was around 26€ with shipping.
@@Dobrodom I changed my motor today and here is the serial number for the electric motor in case u will not be buying a whole part. FC-280SC-18180. I would post a pic of it but can't find the way to so it here.

do you know if this same problem occurs on clio 3 2006 model? and if the solution is the same?
