    I think using a money flow diagram is an excellent way to teach about mobile operator types.
    Thanks for this video.

    Thanks for the video. Would you be able to expand on "Apps & Services" and provide some examples on what these Application and Services are?

    Do You have examples of Light and Full MVNOs in Europe? Which brands are full vs. light MVNO?

    Hello! I have two questions with regards to the slide with title "Different Types of MNOs".
    1) What does "Interconnection" actually mean for a Full MVNO? Doesn't the Full MVNO use the interconnection already having been set by the MNO as the RAN has already been set and working?
    2) Can anyone clarify what does exactly mean the term "Apps and Services" on which OSS apply? Is it possible for someone to adress all or the main Apps and Services held by a MNO or a Full MVNO so I can understand them in more depth?
    Thank you in advance!

    • @3G4G5G
      @3G4G5G  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello, we assume you mean the slide that says Different types of MVNOs, rather than MNOs. Full MVNOs use have their own OSS/BSS and can decide on their preferred roaming/interconnect partners for different countries and how they want to connect to them. For example they may decide to use another IPX for voice/data services as compared to the host MNO.
      OSS/BSS covers customer care, billing & collection, handset management in the table. Apps & Services include, in addition to voice, SMS and data, other offers like free Wi-Fi in public places, sports packages, Netflix/Disney+ subscription, free Skype calls, unmetered WhatsApp, etc. It's all country and operator dependent.

    Great video... i have two questions. First, if i created a device that needed a cellular network to operate (data only), and i wanted it to have access to the same cellular signal (LTE or 4G), what would be the cheapest option to create that network? An MVNO resller? Second question is do you have any idea what the investment cost would be for something like that?

    • @3G4G5G
      @3G4G5G  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the answer to both your questions would be very dependent on the country you are in. In may be cheaper sometimes to become a thin MVNO or sometimes you can get highly discounted SIM for IoT kind of application from the operator itself. The investment would depend on the country too. In some countries where the MVNO process is standardised, you can start one from $2-3K while in some countries you will have to put deposit and the SIM costs are really high, etc.
