I'm really happy for her or anyone who has someone that comes home. My old brother never made it home from Vietnam. I wish he would have surprised me in this way. It's been 41 years and I still miss him. Enjoy the moment with your brother sweetheart!!!!
As an only child who has always wanted a big brother more than anything, I found this unbelievably touching. I love seeing siblings who get along. There is such a strong bond between siblings that should never be broken. It makes me so sad to see brothers and sisters fight simply because I never had the chance to have that bond that I so strongly desired. Awesome video. Thank you for sharing :')
Is it just me or did anybody else notice that she was so stunned and happy that she forgot to get her diploma?? GOOD JOB MARINE AND EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THE SURPRISE!!!! WELCOME HOME MARINE!!!!
I can't wait to see my grandson again. He has only had 10 days of leave in 8 months. USMC graduation was not open to relatives due to Covid. My prayers to all who have family serving our country.
I'm Canadian, and I just love watching these videos. I was an OTR trucker for 40 years and met so many great people in the USA. So many were either in the forces or had someone in them. Watching these clips kind of hits me in a soft spot. No one one should never have to be sent out to fight someone elses battles. We have our kids here because we have safe countries. Don't send them to foreign wars.
I know exactly how everybody else felt watching this. I spent 30 yrs in the corps and there was never anything better than pulling a surprise return. But watching this, my eyes also swelled up and I had to put it on pause for a moment. Family means everything to a military member. Semper Fi Marine.
The families are just as brave as their precious sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers who serve. God bless them all!!! And thank you for all your sacrifices!!!
I remember the disrespect - even hatred - for the military in the sixties and seventies. I'm so glad it's not like that now. There will always be those who abuse power and don't deserve anyone's respect. But most give up much to serve our country - even those of us who weren't sent into harm's way. We were willing. Thank you to all who served.
I'm a Marine and this made me tear up a little. When I came back from Iraq, we didn't tell my mom. There was a family barbecue and I popped out and she had a similar reaction. It's nice to see people appreciate the military every once in awhile. There are too many military haters online. Thank you for posting this.
I can 't imagine her having to let go of her brother and see go off to war. I have only one brother and he is my world and rock in my life. Congrats Jessica in having your brother back home safe and sound with you! :)
I absolutely love this. My brother just graduated from the Marines this past Friday. I won't be graduating college until Spring 2013 but it crosses my mind if he will ever be able to be there.
You are serving the world a favor, not only for the US but for everyone who loves freedom. I hope you gonna surprise your lil sis as well! Well done soldier!
I tear up at every one of these, and I mean every single one of them! There's just something about seeing tears of joy instead of sadness. I had a friend who was going through a tough time, so I helped her out with a small monetary donation. When she saw the bank envelope containing some cash, she broke down and started crying. She didn't even know how much money was in the envelope. Her reaction took me totally by surprise. It was the first time I had ever experienced something like that. I know that in these videos there's going to be that moment when someone realizes what is happening and starts crying. I know they're coming, and I still tear up. Somehow it feels good to share that moment with them.
This brought a tear to my eye and I think it's amazing but I can't help but think about how this made the entire day about one student instead of every student.
Thank you so much to our nothing but brave, ever so loyal troops that have always put their lives at risk for their country's freedoms 👏👏👏👏 👏💪🇺🇸 And God bless their faithful, supportive familie's too. 💞👍
My big sister did the same to me on my graduation. The Night before she calls me to come pic her up at the airport, NO ONE knew she was coming home so soon. It was the best surprise ever, i wasn't able to sleep that night. Hope your brother doesn't have to leave you again, and miss important events like this ever!
I just watched another "coming home" video, very touching but YOU TUBE as it does best RUINED it by switching off comments! Thanks youtube, you did it again.
While I "like" your comment, I understand why comments were turned off. I am a Vietnam Veteran who fought in a lie based war. The GW Bush Iraq War was lie-based. There were no WMD and that was proven before the Iraq War. While I support every veteran, I also understand that there is another side to unjust and unneeded wars.
This may be the most beautiful, heart-touching video I've ever seen. :') God bless him for his service to our Country. and God bless his family for being the strength behind him.
That is the best gift ever.....I would give up anything to just have a brother but to have him be In the Marines suprising her at her graduation ceremony! You cant get any better!😊✌
This is so adorable and so sweet but I also cannot get over "Her father called me" and then her face just changes so fast, it's great I love watching things like this, such genuine happiness and love...! It's so nice!
i made the big mistake of watching this in class... teacher gave me a weird look as to why my eyes were filled with tears. taught me not to watch videos in class, even with no sound! absolutely beautiful. it's a shame those have to live without their loved ones but even more of a blessing when they return safely and happily into the arms of those that missed them the most.
As a retired Marine Vietnam Veteran. I really enjoy seeing how our deployed Marines are treated when they come home. Thank you America! Thank you for your service Marine. Semper Fi
I have watched so many of these it's addictive, but it's also very saddening for me. I'm from the UK and let me tell you we have nothing at all like this. In fact, we are not even allowed to wear our uniforms outside of the base unless we are getting married and have permission. I came back from active service and felt empty. The best welcome home reception and the only I have ever witnessed in the UK was by a group of villagers off their own backs who lined the streets whenever our fallen returned via a small Village quiet and out the way. This was not our Government or councils but just ordinary people.
these reunion videos bring me to tears everytime I see them just so thank ful for the men and women who serve and have served our country. they are to be thank and these videos show the love these families and I am sure the country have for these brave men and women
My son is in Afghanistan and is due home the middle of Oct and we can't wait, this made me cry like a big baby...And the other thing that is crazy my daughters name is Natasha Ortega and there is a Natasha that is called in this video SEMPER FI!!!!!!
That's beautiful. I have a brother in the Marines, he's becoming a diesel mechanic in the USMC right now. I cried when I saw this. I miss him so much. I am sure that she did too. Thumbs up if u are part of the USMC family!
I wish with all my heart the Dean's son safely return home to him and his family too. Jessica, you sweet sister, he really had you and your brother at heart. I wish my dean would have been a 10% just like that and all the best surprises in life as that to thank from the heart. You made your brother and your good parents even more proud as they make you too. They love you great
Totally awesome, I'm a vet as well and I pulled that on my mom a couple of times. The look on that girls face when he said "Jessica's father called me" was priceless.
Breaks me up every time. When we came back they brought us back at night to stop protests . The Government Bastards . We never had a Welcome home parade for 20 years
Beautiful moment. And props for the dean knowing when to step aside and letting the moment happen. It seemed he wanted to set it up, asking her if she had anything to say to her brother and then eventually telling her she can let him know in person but she saw her brother earlier than expected. Awesome video.

@@briankeith7611 You lost me.
The way her family worked secretly with the dean was epic.
@@mcmjr405 Agreed.
Thank you for this explanation.
The sweetest part is she started tearing up as soon as he mentioned her brother
It shows how much she loves and missed her brother.
Yes, bro
Shows how much she cares about her brother and to see just how happy she was to see him u can't help but shed a tear for them

no everyone has respect for the military now it's the police turn
I thank every veteran for my freedom whenever I see them -- and the same for the police and firefighters. Maybe you can help me thank more of them.
It just makes you smile with true happiness. Beautiful.
