I hope Dame and Giannis built up some chemistry during the off season. I was trying to follow both of them through out the summer, but neither of them really posted about each other at all. Kinda makes me think they been working together in silence to come out with a bang this coming season.
@@antleranalysisbro, don't blame Giannis for Dames terrible plays. Dame was very inconsistent and inefficient even in Portland. Giannis is not the only dude that Dame can run pick-and-roll with. He can run pick-and-roll with Brook Lopez, Bobby Portis. Damian Lillard should be able to playoffs of ball but he doesn't want to. I repeat: Giannis is not the reason why Giannis shoots terrible. Dame shot 41% in the playoffs when he was in Portland. I have heard ppl saying Dame plays better when Giannis is not on the floor. So Giannis physically being on the floor the reason why Dame cant play well? What's happened in the playoffs when Giannis didn't even play? Dame played very well in the first half of the first two games but I the second half he literally went 3/14(21). Was Dame Yes, he played very well in the first half but was atrocious in the second half. In the 3rd and 4th game that he played, Dame 30% and 43% from the field, going 33% on both of those games. If you combined the second half of the first two games he played and the last two games he played you see that he didn't play well actually.

if Giannis can't set a good screen and it's causing Dame, let Brook Lopez or Bobby set the screen specifically for Dame to shoot the ball. Giannis doesn't need to do pick-and-roll to get his points.

This doesn’t make any sense bruh the whole point of the Giannis and Dame pick and roll is for the idea of “pick your poison” All Giannis has to do is set a good screen and it fixes the problem. The only thing you could have to worry about is if Dame is going to make the right play (which we trust he can do)
As a Lakers fan sad to see Prince walk, this was a great video. Bucks should be much better next season with Dame getting into his groove and Giannis continuing to put up the best numbers in his career. Look forward to seeing it
Even with all of these issues, the Dame / Giannis pnr was still an effective move against most defenses. There's a ton of low hanging fruit that can be grabbed to make it probably the most effective move in the NBA: better screens from Giannis, Dame looking to pass to Giannis more, etc. all things you point out. I have a lot of confidence they'll figure it out. I think they may break the record for team mates with the most 30/10 games in a game. That last Clippers game is something they can do to most teams in the NBA.
@@greyyb8860I set slips too. It’s cas I want the ball lol. But it puts more pressure on the ball handler for sure. They just have to figure out when to slip and when to get sturdy. They’ll figure it out
