- The Mafube Local Municipality in the Free State is accused of
consistently failing to pay workers' pension fund contributions.
This is despite receiving its equitable share from the treasury and a
court order to pay over R38 million.
Municipal Workers' Retirement Fund principal officer Themba Mfeka explains.

You can believe in the ANC and EFF to take care of "Our own people".The results show the opposite. Not once not twice but all the time.
ANC EFF MK hate blacks
What a disaster! Arrest everyone involved
ANC won't arrest ANC members
This matter should go straight to parliament for a special briefing with the senior municipal managers responsible
Extremely sad story, clearly the Municipality employees have not realized the implications of this matter.
They know exactly what they have done
This is heartbreaking.
You get what you vote for
All other ordinary people must answer questions when they are in trouble, but Cyril doesnt have to answer!!!!
Who voted these people into power?
You get what you vote for. Enjoy your choice
corruption after corruption workers pension fund soo soo sad from 2007 again ANC run municipalities opposition parties should be this up in parliament for official to be liable
Things started to fall apart shortly after 2007 Polokwane conference
Mafube where is the money going to? Phala Phala where is the money coming from? Why do some have to answer and others not?😢
Who is paying the court costs? We, the People?
So who stole the money?
Cadres off course
Nothing is free in life, someone is always paying! CoJ will follow suit then now they also want to collapse Tshwane

Blame it on the ANC. Now you can see what it means to be liberated; liberated from your livelyhood and future by the liberation party so beloved by SA.
Who stole it
Who ran the municipality (company?). There is your answer.
Many companies don't pay pension/provident contributions.
But this is not a company, it is z municipality. Or was this municipality taken over by the ANC and run as a company, then your argument is understandable
But if that is the case, where is the funds allocated to that municipality (company?) since 2007? So the loss is not only pension money or retirement funds, but also the voted and allocated monies received from Treasury. And all of this was done under the ANC's watch by the people then in control ( Ace Magashule ) as well as the people now in control (whoever that might be) So that municipality was like a big smartie box, the gift just keeping on giving; and whoever sat on the receiving side smiled all the way to the bank.
He tasted it😅
Get these stealers into the parliament and discuss it with alk the parties.Dont worry about courts!!!!!
So, the adjudicator has no say in this case anymore because the court was manned by ANC aligned staff and judiciary. That should be and can be the only reason why the Municipsl manager and its top management can not be held criminally liable.
Oh no this is criminal. People pay to wards a pension fund and when they retire there is nothing in the pot! Poor and destitute.
Viva ANC!
Did the two funds not combine at one stage? When the pension was deducted, were two different deductions made and paid over two the two different funds separately or was there only one deduction made that had to be split between the two funds and at what percentage. Was the total deduction made over thr number of years under discussion not paid over or only the portion of the deduction that had to be paid to retirement fund not paid.
ANC municipity 😂😂😂😂😂😂
You got that 100% and more 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
ANC, EFF and MK is combination that would destroy civilization

It's not entirely ANC fault citizens want to get free water/electricity etc which is not possible same will happen to Tshwane wants they remove Cilliers Brink. CoJ is almost on it's knees because of communities like Soweto who dont want to pay for water & electricity
Failed . So what's new in Africa?
We are in South Africa
Nothing new
@@dumisaninxumalo7574
So according to you you are not part of Africa. The EFF' s Julius Malema surrly is in love with you.
@@nicolaasludick4807 This government is South African. There is AU if you want to discuss Africa
What a weak, pathetic response. Useless!!! Even our Judges are useless. 🤦 But people will keep voting for criminals. Doesnt make sense does it? 🤔
Yes, remember, we are in Africa or South Africa. I wonder whether the previous commentator realised then that he compares South Africa with Israel, an enclave at the southern tip of Africa. And this comlarison with a country that is also, ohhh, so hated by the ANC. What confusing country are we staying in nowadays, and imagine, we have been born here. What a hrritage we received from our parents znd grandparents.
No wonder they hate the settlers so much; we refused to be so confused as them.
Guys start voting in people who can govern not shout slogans.
Then you will have to get rid of the unions and their members; they only taught them to shout slogans but not how to think.
Same with bluecrane rout municipality.
Where is that? Also in the Freeeee State?

Are you now referring to the ANC, ZUMA or ACE MAGASHULE.... or is the one that handed you the pendion monies?
The more things change the more they stay the same 😂😂😂.
True, but transformation just made it so much more, bigger and better .
