Hype. This is one of my favorite games. I hundred percented it before but definitely took me all night. I had to do it in one run with no game overs though because my ps1 memory card was corrupted.
Very cool finding out about all those sneaky skips. Might just have to dust off the ps1 again for old times sake. (Though I have bought a new memory card since then.)
I am a few years late, but I recently found out that the chess pieces in the garden stage don't move randomly. They move like actual chess pieces lol. Granted the King and Queen are easy to get into place and so is the rook but I couldn't figure out the bishop because I was so focused on the colors rather than the chess pieces.
Fun game. I remember playing it but never completed it. My brother did, however, and I watched him. Looking back at it now I see similarities with Banjo-Kazooie. I wonder if there's anything to that.
@@FeekyChucker It's been two years since I wrote that comment. I'm sorry but I don't recall exactly what about it was similar. Probably the low poly visuals or some kind of gameplay feel.
I'm like 3 years too late for this but wow. The stream's entire vibe feels so uncomfortable. The dudes in the room watching this guy play look like they'd rather be anywhere else lmfao
I played this game as a kid and never could remember what it was called. For years I thought I dreamed it because I could never find it.
I have been waiting for this speedrun for a few years
holy shit, i havent even thought about this game for over a decade. great to see games like this in speedrun events
Oh, Sir Dan - how many adventures we've been on...
One of my all time favorite PS1 games. It's still worth playing today.
Absolutely! I replayed it a couple years ago and it's still an absolute blast to play!
The PS4 remake has the original version in it you can unlock. Play it in all its old school glory
I really wish for a remake for MediEvil 2 or for a completely new MediEvil
Very nice commentary, love the little lore snip bits
I love medievil, good run !
Amazing game and an amazing runner!
great run, good commentary, thanks!
What a great concept it was
1:20:14 the pure panic in his voice when he saw the Serpent of Gallowmere (AKA "the bad dragon" XD)
Dang, how many of my favourite games does Glackum play? Love it!
IT HAS RISEN AGAIN!
I love this game as a kid one of the best ps1 games

I think I remember reading that you can get more drumsticks by replaying the ant level. My sources could be inaccurate, though.
Medievil the best game ever 😍
My childhood in 2 hours :D I freaking love this game
What game does glackum not play first Rayman now this he's playing all my fav games

Banjo-Kazooie? How?

love this game
Hello uncle glackum
Medievil 2 speedrun would be painful but the music is at least good.
Agreed considering the enemies in that game are more of a pain to deal with, plus the boxing match would be annoying as hell to speed run.
😎

Time should be called after skipping the last piece of Zarok text. It's still gameplay.
I remember as a kid, I beat this game 100% in less then 6 hours without trying. Wonder how I'd do if I actually try to beat it fast.
