Looks like another nice affordable guitar for what you get at the $200 range. As for your jam it sounds like you are playing through a processor/modeling effects unit or amp as most pro-TH-camr's do, to me that makes everything sound good. I'd like to here the guitars right through an amp with a pedal or two. Great playing as always! Oh and now there is a $20 off coupon.

I like that guitar and you're a really good guitar shredder. I only have a glarry strat that I really want to make into a metal beast!! Haven't really played since the 90's. I miss making Pantera like grooves and pinch harmonic screams with a good trem. I've already purchased some locking tuners and a loaded pickguard. I'm thinking of getting a 24 fret neck and bone nut replacement. Can't wait to have the time to do the work and remember how to rock!!! Keep up the good work!!!

@@thebaldshredder Yes. I was listening and playing along. The transition to b minor is a great one. F# is always an uplifting note ive heard the concept in "i'll see the light tonight" transitioning from a minor.
Your transfer from each string is very precise no gaps. Im sure people will be buying more albums i was thinking about listening to this while driving to work.
Brief Encounter has a similar key change. I listened to all four albums intros. Very very good. You must have a ton of fans. Keep on composing.
Whats your thoughts on keys like e minor transposing to c minor? Or a flat to f minor? Do you ever use locrian mode or the modes? Im thinking yes would need to listen to all four albums completely.

But - It looks like this is made in the Eart Factory. EXACT SAME Frets/Tuners/Pickguard/Neck heel access/Truss rod wheel access/Mahogany Body/Roasted Maple neck. Differences I can see are the nut material and and string tree.

This is on sale pretty much EVERY time I’ve looked. It’s almost always on sale. I plan on either picking this up or a Firefly ST. I have a Les Paul styled guitar from Firefly and it’s phenomenal, so I’m debating but this one looks so good too!

@@thebaldshredderspecs wise they seem good not sure if its actually true specs wise and not how the quality would be good, the g4m brand of guitars all say extra jumbo stainless steel frets and graphtech nut, i might test one out later and see how it is
I got lucky. I spotted this video three minutes after it was posted. I watched it and my decision was easy. Fifteen minutes after the Bald Shredder posted this video, I bought the guitar AND the Fleor humbuckers (love that coupon!). But I'm worried that Amazon isn't going to deliver this guitar to me. This is the second time Amazon said they'll email me with an Estimated Delivery Date. And last time, they never did. Now I'm waiting for two guitars. LOL...

yeah, it kinda had a Ratt tone with the new humbucker.
A lot of these budget guitars have the same kind of neck/fret profile. A slightly thick neck with the ball end frets that just need to be a wee bit bigger imo. If they'd put jumbo frets on and slim the neck down to about 0.80" or less at the 1st fret that would be a bangin' guitar. Still a burnin' deal though.
Yes agree 1000%. I've told so many of these manufacturers the same thing. Make the neck thinner and the frets bigger. True jumbo size! The only one that really listened was Leo Jaymz. Hopefully the new Monsoon model, when it comes out, will have those specs.

Nice jam! It is amazing whats available. I actually shopped at the original guitar center in Hollywood 😮 getting a ride there was a challenge. I also cant believe the amount of guitars being sold when you factor the used market. Amps also im wondering if the vintage mkt will tank. I think the days of half stacks are numbered. The unfortunate thing is there's great gear but no wear to use it. In the late 70s live music venue's were everywhere. We didnt have djs top 40 and dance clubs had live bands that were great. I lived on the L,A, orange co. Border in high school it was back yard parties and battle of the bands. Hollywood was crazy and there were 20 other clubs in between
Times have changed. That's for sure.

I bought one nearly identical to this made by Grote Guitars. The parts look identical. Mine also could use a new pick up. I'll try the one you suggested. Overall it is a decent guitar for the money but mine has bad tuning issues. It just won't stay in tune! Did you encounter that with this one? If so, how did you overcome it?
Did you put new strings on it? These import guitars always come with very cheap quality strings that don't stay in tune well. If that doesn't work, I'd change the nut to a TUSQ XL, and do NOT using the whammy.
So if you wanted to use the whammy, what aftermarket bridge option would you choose?

Bro, that clean tone sounded almost exactly like the stock #6 setting on the fender mustang gtx amps. Ambient wash they call it. I gotta know if that's what you used.
Nope. I was using my Line 6 POD Farm software that I always use. That clean is one of my dialed in settings. My #1 clean tone to be exact.

Uh oh, you misquoted me. That's a no no. I never said the Fesley was the best "strat" because it's not a strat. It's a Dinky. The Fesley is great and an amazing deal, but it's not a strat. This Censtar is great for people that want that classic strat shape WITH a pickguard. Plus the Censtar has stainless steel frets and a coil tap which the Fesley does not. However, the neck on the Fesley is thinner and feels better. Both have weak cheap pickups. If I had to pick one over the other, I'd go with the Fesley because of the neck, and the fact that I prefer the dinky shape.
Anyone know if this would be a good mod platform to match fender and Squier parts? I would Love to turn this into a parts caster Frankenstein Beast with EMG 81 h Sa pre wired Guard, Wilkinson trem, graphtech nut, and hipshot locking tuners! As I’m sure a lot of people want to do the invader swap atom Delonge rip off though Mine will probably look like an Adrian Smith Charvel/Jackson. If the parts aline I’m in 100 percent. They use to have one with a rounded Ibanez like heal joint.

Coil tap, coil switch, coil flip, coil boil, snake coil? Switch between single coil and humbucker.

This guy could make any guitar sound good, great playing, no clean without effects and that means another 300 bucks for decent pups, ha ha lucky pieare, what is the body made of? What is the neck made of and what is the method of construction of both? Oh it's under 200 dollars so why ask, well um a well made guitar is not worth more, every price point on any guitar is all about brand and market bear, and nothing more than the maker wants to put into that price point but using the same decent woods and construction does not cost more once a shop is tooled up, hmm, no 300 dollar guitar should be Garbage even now.

I'm always very wary of somebody's TH-cam channel that has a coupon code or discount code for the guitar they are reviewing. I wish people would disclose in the beginning of the video if they are actually being paid or if they are given a guitar or compensation Etc. Unless it means that the video is a paid promotion if they do not say anything in the beginning

Something else to notice is that the pickguard isn't white. It's mint green. It's not super noticeable on the blue or green, but it stands out like a sore thumb on the white guitar.
That, and I'd like to see more Strat style guitars come out with an HS configuration (no middle pickup). Could be something the separates them from the rest of the pack too. Not just a generic Strat or HH, but something interesting and unique.
