What a great interview, Erica! I feel as though I was sitting right there with the two of you. Very relaxed, comfortable and certainly interesting. Thank you, Sarah, for sharing your story, for your courage, your perseverance and most importantly keeping your sense of humour as you navigated through life after suffering this tragic accident. Erica, you never cease to amaze me. I’ve always admired your altruistic personality and your genuine care and concern for everyone you come in contact with. I’m proud to call you my friend (and now Sarah’s too!)
Awwww, Cheryl! Thank you for watching and for your very kind words! I am very grateful that we were able to work together for as long as we did and I'm grateful to call you my friend as well 😊🥰
I, too, have an acquired disability from a childhood accident. I'm in my mid 30s. I remember all those same songs! You know, I have a tendency to get down on myself a lot. I think my personality did change. Hearing Sarah's story this morning and witnessing her positive attitude is an inspiration. I'm having a tough morning and not much tends to motivates me. But this interview did. Thank you both.
Oh, I am so grateful you found this motivating! That's exactly why I do this. Be sure to subscribe ... more interviews are coming up! I'm sorry for the delayed response. I hope you are doing well!
Thank you for sharing her story. I love how you allow her to be seen, heard, and valued. I wish everyone did this. As a disability TH-camr who's autistic, dyslexic and an ADHDer, I love making the disability community (My community) to be seen, heard, and valued. I use my disability TH-cam channel as a safe space for the disability community where they can express themselves freely. With love, your friend Mariah
