Here’s a question I have not heard anyone ask. How do you get Tesla roof installed with a NEW home build? We are building a house within the year and the builder has no idea. They generally say that breaks warranty and they wouldn’t do it. Is it just a matter of telling them just put the decking on and subcontractor a solar roofer? I’m in southern Virginia so outside y’all’s service area. Also, I lived in the DC Metro area when Snowmageddon hit lol. It was crazy.
@nextjin we service ALL of Virginia, so we'd be thrilled to talk to you about adding Tesla Solar Roof to your new construction. We have already completed multiple new construction installations. @pilotdenny For a new build, we will start by maxing out the size based on the local utility's allowance. Then, we will dial it back based on estimated energy consumption from load calculations.
