"It takes one word from Jesus, one encounter with God to transform our lives." I couldn't agree more with Steve! This is one of my favorite episodes from "Defining Moments," a Documentary Interview Series that I am currently producing and directing. There's something so contagious about hearing the genuine encounter someone has with God and how it can set our lives into the same victory, excitement, and passion they have for life. These aren't easy times and I can attest to feeling very unmotivated and often depressed in the day to day. But Steve has reminded me of the power of thankfulness and tools like "shifting the focus from ourselves to others"...because God's been so generous with me, I have so much to give and I am so blessed to live!! I was muslim and converted to Jesus when he healed me in 2012 from a chronic disease: Bronchioectasis and a rare genetic disease: Primary ciliary dyskinesia, after I was healed, we reconverted to Islam because we were afraid of being jailed and persecuted for apostasy but then I became sick again. They explained to us that we can't just take the healing of Jesus and go back to our old way of life, we had to devout ourselves completely to him. That is what we did and we're enjoying the peace of being in the Holy presence of God since 8 years now.
Praise Jesus Baju! what an amazing story of Jesus' healing and salvation, the Gospel brings peace with God, and therefore peace with ourselves!

I was born into a Christian family but I really wasn't a Christian. I finally gave my life to Jesus when I was 16 , I am thriving through stress and anxiety with Jesus . U have made me realize that God loves me more than I think , that God cares for me more than I can imagine. Just thinking of that brings a peace of mind and joy. I look forward making others feel that way too.

I was saved by the Lord, in March'20, after 20 years of practicing SGI Buddhism. Praise be to God. When I burnt the mandala, that I used to chant infront of, I felt an incredible sense if relief and peace. God bless you Steve, your incredible testimony is so powerful. Much love to you brother 🙏❤🇬🇧

I’ve struggled with depression and am a Christian. It’s difficult when you come from an abusive family and you’re the only believer. Praying to be able to sleep like he said when you don’t sleep you can’t think clearly. It’s your environment too, if it’s unhealthy. Praying for peace of mind Jesus

I know exactly how you feel. I was in the same boat as you not long ago. My sleep got so bad that I was even thinking of taking CBD gummies since I have been praying for God to help me sleep and nothing. I just kept praying, kept the faith, and love for Our God and one night, my prayers were answered. When I finally stopped asking Him and started praying for others. Then I was able to just sleep, no Melatonin, Benadryl, Nyquil since none of these worked. God has His perfect timing. So keep the faith, prayers, and your love for God. HE WILL GET YOU THROUGH IT NO MATTER WHAT AS LONG AS YOU DON'T GIVE UP ON HIM! He's NEVER abandoned me and He loves you just as much as He loves me. Hang in there! I will pray for you!

When you described the voice of God, it gave me chills because I too heard the voice of God when He spoke to me when I was a child. He told me that no matter where I go, I will always find my way. You described His voice perfectly.

@@aathanraan8819 I heard God's voice too, and I wasn't at church. You know when it's God voice's, you just know, there no mistaking it. :) If you want to hear His voice, you'll have to surrender to Him. We're not superior than you just because we listened to His voice, and you didn't. It's not like that ever. You're very special to Him too, but maybe you're in a period of your life you don't care about God. I'm just assuming this, if it's not the case and you're actually interested Him and want Him to reveal Himself to you, than I take it back.

Last thing, the emotional con doesn't work on me. I know what my value is, because it is entirely up to me to determine that. I also never cared for a god, even when I was raised in it. It never made sense and not one theist, no matter the brand, has yet to make it make sense or demonstrate the truth of their claims.

Both beings are more powerful than you and therefore you have no control over which one is speaking to you. You also can not know which one it is, because you have no reference to recognize it. Not only that, both have the ability to deceive you.

Thank you Steve for sharing your testimony. Many years ago I became acquainted with a Buddhist Priestess. She had great influence and wealth, owned a Buddhist Temple in Monterey California. She had a profound spiritual experience, wherein I believe she saw Christ. She donated the temple to Buddhist community, got rid of all Buddhist images and faithfully became a Christian. My other Korean friend, who had introduced me to her Priestess was mad and terribly upset with her for this sudden transformation. She eventually moved back to Korea with family. I was raised in a Christian family and have always believed in God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I was grateful this lovely lady (cant remember her name), had a beautiful Christ conversion. A couple years later she died of failed liver transplant. I’m so happy she found Christ before leaving this earth life. Thank you again for sharing your love of Christ! BTW, I learned how to make KimChee many years ago. My family LOVES Korean food. We ALWAYS have KimChee and sticky rice, and. Many side condiments. Best food in the world! Love, Sister Jayne

That was a beautiful testimony! I died also - the angels took me to heaven where I stood face to face with God and Jesus, because I was a Christian. I was forgiven of everything and loved like an only child by them. People should do it the easy way - accept Jesus and repent of their sins - and then there's only good stuff to look forward to on the other side! Jesus is our ONLY hope. Now I am studying in university. These days I'm so addicted to k dramas , c dramas, movies.....etc. I know it is wrong. I asked Jesus to deliver me from these worldly pleasures and he delivered from it.

Thanks Steve for sharing your story! I grew up Buddhist in a Thai family and also turned to meditation and yoga to help me heal after something traumatic. It seemed natural to do to help cope with the mental health side of things, but that’s because I grew up not knowing that God loves me. He loves each and every one of you and He is good. Last year I became a baptized Christian and it’s God’s grace that lead me to find Him.

So today i was at the church the first time in many years again. The pastor talked about forgiveness, instantly in my head popped up this Sentence „we choose our way if it’s good or bad“ it means either we forgive and end up making our father in heaven our lord Jesus Christ proud or we let satan control us and blur our minds till we land in hell. After that I have watched a documentary about the hardest prison in Russia where a man murdered 61 people because he couldn’t live without killing. That fear that I felt and disgust of the sin was disgusting, it showed me hoe what unbelievably awful things satan does and what an awful creature he is. Then god showed me your video and I understood what he was trying to tell me as you’ve said in your video god showed you how hell and Heaven is. What I understood was that everything we do has consequences, so I understand now through these two examples that we have to worship the lord because he loves us so much that he even warns us from hell and tries to pull us away from the path to hell. Dear people whoever this is for don’t forget to take sin serious, this is not a game, the world is ending and you should be prepared for the return of Jesus

The most helpful and hopeful advice of depression from a fellow Christian. Saying that suffering has a purpose is an amazing explanation and reason. It makes you feel like a weight is being lifted.

This meant a great deal to me, the simplicity and the power. During your testimony God also confirmed something he had already said to me. May God continue to bless you and continually give you wisdom and keep you in the narrow way. May the "God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. (Ephesians 1 Vs 17). I grew up christain but when i was 14 i realised i didn't really enjoy the religeon so i started doing some research on other religions and stumbled upon buddhism. I officially converted to buddhism when i was 16 years old and i feel alot better now.

I was born in a Christian family but never knew who Jesus really was until now. There are a lot of Christians who claim themselves to be Christians and still don't know the living God.. the one true God. when I faced alot of trials and tribulations and was on the verge of giving up ... I got the message ... I received the Word of God ...I came to realize that God love's me for who I am and even if the society and the entire world has left me God never left me nor Forsaked me. Not only were my sins washed away ... But I became a completely new creation in Christ ... Now there is no looking back, no sorrows, no pain, no fears, no worries ... All my remaining life I will walk with Christ, bearing my cross and spreading the Gospel. Thank you Lord for saving my soul.

Spoken like a true convert. Those born into the church often don’t know what they have been given and take it for granted. My kids do so I pray and pray for them to wake up. Being Christian is completely counter-cultural and it takes true bravery. Modern culture mocks Christianity
