I, too, was raised as a Buddhist, not knowing any better until my late teens when I wondered about my existence. Praise God, I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior. Unfortunately, I wish all the Buddhists buried at the cemetery could have had a second chance, but it's too late now.

Even the most on fire Christian’s have doubts! One of Jesus’ own disciples was doubtful and he got the honor of meeting Christ on earth! Those days that you feel doubt are the days you have to throw yourself at Gods mercy 🥰🙏🏼 Trust me, I know first hand. Through all that God has brought me through, EVERYDAY I have to choose to follow God because that’s what faith is! I was born in a Buddhism family as the youngest child and I am the only one got saved and I am always blessful for the Salvation and Redemption. But the true Buddha never taught you to believe in him or to follow him. He taught people that if you practice enough, you will go to paradise but it could take several lives, not happen by grace only by work. He also said that there would be the one coming who will save the world but not him.

Buddha never wanted to b e worshipped. This is not Buddhist practice. He never claimed to be divine. He said he was human but one that sorted out what is happening in this physical realm and how to put it into a perspective that ends suffering through lifelong practice and deep deep deep practice. It's not this surface level garbage that the west thinks of when they think of Buddhism. Not interested in converting anyone just pointing out wat Buddhism is or rather is not.
Hello all, im glad i found this video... I've been trying to convince my family to accept Christ. This video just popped on my feed. I guess the Lord know what i need. Praise Him. I noticed the discussion and would like to give my input as well as i was raised a buddhist. Buddha may have taught about peace and loving kindness as his main agenda but sadly its all work based religion. And karma will judge for our deeds on earth. Buddha taught to escape from the cycle of rebirth and suffering through meditation and merit accumulation through good deeds. I don't see how that works because one need to be cut off from world to achieve enlightenment. Buddha is not to be worship cos he is just a man. In summary, its like an atheist but with a set of rules. Ever since the Lord found me and saved me, i been experiencing events and things beyond my understanding. He is the Living God. He conquered death. Thank you Lord Jesus for your never ending grace and come into my life ❤️
This is such a crazy feeling. I tried Christianity so many times on my own I never got it. It wasn't until I realized I had been beguiled by demons and asked Jesus and the Holy Spirit to save and guide me that I finally got it. Now that I have the Holy Spirit guiding me it just seems like every day I receive exactly what I need to hear and this was that for today. I was born Sikh, I started to visit the prayer room at my work place to practice 10-15mins mindfulness to clear my head, but I had an experience where i was doing a guided meditation asking for healing and love for my patients, family and self, then i left the prayer room and felt I had a healing spirit that walked with me back to my work(medical profession), I felt I had a spirit follow me out of the prayer room(Like a healing Type spirit) and when i walked in the room I saw a healing happen before my very eyes. At the time I thought I attracted a spiritual spirit as per hindu ideas but then I realized the prayer room is used for christian prayer every noon and people envoke the spirit of the lord in the very room to save their loved ones every day. I thought I might have just had a run in with Jesus. Today after listening to this pastor I said the sinners prayer , for some reason I am wearing a Cross(despite not being christian, I been strangly attracted to the idea of scarifice and thought it represented that idea that i want to live by) and when he just prayer for different religious just now i felt the light of the lord course through me(Vibrations and tears(hard to desribe)). Now I am confused, I need to know more about this as long as i can get to god I am willing to do anything. what a experience!

Trust in Jesus Christ, stay focused on him as if your life depended on it. Get a bible and start reading it, pray and ask the lord to help you find a church where Jesus from the Bible is worshipped and taught. Church will not save you but it will give you strength and help you grow and support your walk with God/Jesus/Holy Spirit. Tell someone else about your experience and give them the chance to accept the lord as their savior. Jesus loves you. When you accepted him the angels in heaven celebrated your salvation. You are special to God, he has always watched you and has been waiting for you to turn to him. Our father is very generous, remember to pray and read the Bible. What a powerful testimony. I, too, was a cradle Buddhist. Saved and Baptized in December 2016. I don't have a Damascus experience to tell 😂. But just like this pastor, I've always known there's a creator & I was born for a purpose. As I'm listening to this message just now, I remember coming into a Catholic church in my neighborhood and taking communion. My childhood was very similar to this Pastor. I was a religious Buddhist. The UNREGENERATE Peter denied Jesus.
Prior to the resurrection, nobody was a Christian by definition (John 1:12-13, Romans 8:9).
The Holy Spirit indwelling could only be given after the resurrection. That's what Jesus says in John 7:39.
After Pentecost, Peter went from being a carnal, fearful and self-centred person struggling in his own strength to being a bold, eloquent, Christ-centred evangelist, empowered by the Holy Spirit, as we see in Acts chapter 2 and beyond.
Here are some more verses about conversion/transformation. It's a fundamental part of the Gospel (Good News):
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a NEW creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become NEW" (2 Corinthians 5:17).
"But God be thanked, that ye WERE the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
For when ye WERE the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness" (Romans 6:17-18, 20)

I was not born anything, but I was baptized many years ago, but was not living right. I eventually became a Protestant evangelist, and tried to follow the Bible, but I didn't really like any church. Five years ago, I prayed the Rosary with Mother Angelica on TV. I had a powerful conversion experience, and I came to know the Catholic Church in my soul. It was like it was downloaded and made sense of all the Scripture I already had internalized. I found the Church I was looking for my whole life. The Church founded by Christ Jesus, Himself. I am very happy now. I receive the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of the Lord Jesus every day at Mass. That is how I am sanctified, by His Body. God Bless!
My husband and his kids is buddies I keep on praying that Jesus will save them and give them salvation and free my husband from all hid addictions. I know Hell is real because I have death experience too but me I saw heaven it’s a long story but I will never forget the amazing things that I experience especially when I saw God that He give breath of life into my month and i saw it going into my lungs. I've had a hard life. My parents were alcoholics, who divorced when I was three. Our LORD and Savior Jesus is awesome !! I am disabled due to disc degenration but Jesus gives me strength to get through the day !! My husband is very sick with cancer right now, its hard to take care of his needs and my own but Jesus is there guiding me and helping me every day now !! Praise God and our Savior Jesus I'm very grateful and happier then I have been in a long time. Im no longer depressed. I know great things are coming because Jesus told me he is coming to save the world. All the glory and praise goes to God an Jesus. I pray for the world, now is the time to get right with the lord.

I was raised Catholic. Did my Holy Communion and Confirmation. As I grew I was still seeking for the truth because I wasn’t satisfied with Catholicism. I studied with a Jehovah Witness for a year, but wasn’t satisfied with that religion. I became a Buddhist, I received the scroll and set up an altar. I prayed every day and chanted every day, but something told me it was wrong, so I told the person that got me into it that I felt that I should be praying to Jesus. That night a demonic entity jumped on me while I was in bed and started choking me. Also my cat turned into a rabbit in front of my eyes. Inside of my mind I was saying “Jesus” and the demon jumped off of me. I started seeking and I did find the truth in Jesus Christ my Savior and Lord who is and who was and who is to come. If you seek you shall find.

I promise to give a testimony of my husband's salvation i am not going to give up. I have a Muslim background and I prayed for my muslim family and they are believers in Christ now! Jesus Himself came to us in our dreams and talked to us. It is easier for Muslims to come to Christ. Buddhists have deceiving spirits it is harder. None of my husband's cso called christian relatives came to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Instead when they meet they gossip about other people.

I have had Fybromyalgia for over half my life. There is no cure,and I have pleaded to Yeshua to heal me, and others have prayed for me, and even tried to call out demons of infirmity! Their is nothing more I can do. I know that this body is not going to last forever and I WILL be healed. In Glory, there is no more suffering, no more pain. And no more tears. I can relate to the prayer Pastor Kang prayed at the end. Years ago in my 20's I suffered from severe depression and anxiety and those I was an unbeliever I cried out to Jesus saying that I didnt believe He was real, but if He was to show me and to show me the way out of the mess I was in. He did. I am 25-30 years passed my depression and am I believer now and have no anxiety or depression and am taking no pills for it either. Jesus will meet you where you are at, even if you are an unbeliever, cry out to Him. He will show Himself to you and help you.

This is so weird!!! I am a born again Christian, but before that I was a very spiritual person and studied practically any religion, as of Lately I came to the realization that all my statues and books on astrology and tarot cards and all that I got out of my house in other words I'm purging my house day by day throwing things out that doesn't serve God and Jesus. Yesterday I came upon one of my little Buddha statues probably the only one that I had left but something told me to throw it out so I did!!! I love his story! Here's a comment on the "eat healthy" part! I had my own journey figuring out a lot of things with eating and becoming healthy: 1. Sugar is addictive. If you want to cut sugar, you will have pain and brain fog for two weeks but it's worth it!! It was so hard so cut sweets and sugar but I managed it. 2. Lifting weights is not only for people who wants to gain muscles, everybody should do this two times a week. 3. I found out that wheat is harming my body!!! It made me bloated, tired and gave me strong cravings for more food after two hours. It even gave me neurodermitis. I switched completely to rice and potatoes and I never felt that much energy and focus. I wonderd why and found out the wheat we eat today is not the same we had 70 years ago. Last word: You don't have to feel bad for having problems with eating, a lot of it is terrible addiction, you just have to start to fight

I have to comment on what you said about your Catholic family members. True, devout Catholics are saved already, that’s a common misconception & myth. I am a devout Catholic woman and I searched for many years for all the things the Catholic Church has fulfilled within me.

I am the complacent Christian. I have woke up every day for the past year with aching muscles and weighty fatigue. I have told God that it is too much effort to pray to Him, too much effort to read his Word. I have said, "If you will heal me, I will then pray, read, preach, ect." Recently I have been watching videos on Buddhism, specifically the old NPR special. While I have not been walking closely with the Lord, I have known deep down that He is the only way. But there have been pollutants. I have thought, maybe I need to believe in Jesus and eat all of the best vegetables to be healed. Or, maybe I need to believe in Jesus and do Yoga to be restored. What I have found, over and over and over and over, is that Jesus was 100% right when He said, "You can not serve two masters, you will love one and hate the other." This goes for seeking help from anything that is not Jesus, including healthy food and exercise! Good food is necessary, and exercise too, but these things are not the Healer. Jesus is the Healer. I have eaten a plate full of broccoli and thought it was going to take away the pain and fatigue in my body, and it never has. But in ONE MOMENT, just as you said in this video, during SINCERE PRAYER TO JESUS, I feel better, I actually feel the pain and fatigue melt away. I know that I am not fully healed yet, but I am determined now to not think of prayer as a chore to be done to please God, but to see prayer as what it is, communion and fellowship with the healer, and invitation which he will always accept if it is done in sincerity and truth!

I've realized that no matter how many "Come to Jesus" moments I have had in my life, my desire to understand things for myself has never gone away. I can listen to the NPR Buddhism special and pick out things that I think are wrong, but then I hear other things that I think are right. The result is confusion, just like the Enemy loves. He loves to give you part of God's Truth and mix it with his lies. But just as you said in this video, they don't mix! If you truly surrender everything to Jesus, He is faithful transform us. If you give him 99% and hold on to 1% and say, "No, this one thing is mine," it taints every other bit of devotion you have to give. There is no middle ground, there is no serving two masters. You either serve Jesus 100%, or you do not serve Him at all.

I am going to pray more. I am done believing the lies the enemy tells me, that I pray and God hears and does nothing. I am going to stop going to God with requests, or at least much less of them. I am going to go to him with a heart of thanksgiving and praise. He is faithful, he knows what I need.

Thank You for the video. I've heard this man's story several times now. Each time it gives me hope for my family especially my daughter who is currently incarcerated on drugs and alcohol charges 90 Day probation hold. She almost killed my grandchildren while they were in her womb from drinking and drugs. Both grandkids were born severely premature. Both kids suffered tremendously from the mother's denial. Pray for spiritual and mental health for my daughter and safety and respect for my granddaughter and grandson and myself. ❤ thank you

Please do your own research on the Catholic faith, many protestants look down on Catholics . The Catholic faith is the true Christian faith and has been since Jesus. There is only one Catholic faith but over 20 000 protestant denominations.
Protestants can't agree amongst themselves. One man spilt the church and changed the Bible because he couldn't hack it as a monk and then smuggled a nun out of a nunnery and married her. Protestantism is only half the faith.
So they may go to purgatory, and you can pray for them .
People can be saved after they die, don't underestimate the power of prayer.

I know that the Lord stopped my hard-core drug addiction that I had for 35 years and now I’ve been clean for 22 years and happy
Powerful! I have also been to hell and had 2 out of body experiences following attempting suicide at 12 and 32 and I been healed so much! I’ve lost about 100lbs following being healed physically. After going through a tough season God instructed NO 5AM Prayer til I say! I slept in for 6 weeks and despite moving across the country with no job I was just hired after applying at 40 places and I know it’s because I was to REST….from work and early prayer too. Now I feel released to wake up early again to pray early before work and workout through weights some evenings and walking on some. I had to learn to stop and do what was given in that time even if that is sleep and eat well. Thank you Jesus! I’m a deliverance minister and work in psychology and prison reentry field but I pray if I go to graduate school it will be for nutrition or divinity rather than professional counseling although it’s a wonderful field.

My mom had a buddhist temple built in our back yard when I lived in San Francisco as a small child. People came to donate money, leave ancestors' ashes, burn incense, etc. I always feared death until I became a believer when I was 24 yrs old. I strongly believe that any state of mind that is altered by drugs or alcohol lowers your body's normal defenses, thus opening you up to demon possession. For example, when you get black out drunk, yet you still did things that you do not remember whatsoever.

I suffer from depression. I have held open scissors to my throat. Threatening to close them and slice what I could. Such deep suffering and darkness depression makes me feel sometimes. I just work through it, feeling it and letting it go. I do worry one day it will take my life. I don't think that is what it's about though. I am here to experience and learn. Then go back Home to heaven and learn some more. We learn for all eternity and love for eternity. God loves us to no end.

SMOKING POT, DRINKING ALCOHOL, INCEST THIS STARTED AT THE OF 10 YRS OF AGE NOW I'M SUFFERING CRIPPLING ANXIETY, FEAR JUST LIKE YOU HAD AS A YOUNG MAN, AND I ALSO HAVE SPINAL STENOSIS SO I GET AROUND WITH A WALKER AND I HAVE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AT THE AGE OF 9 or 10 years of age. What a beautiful powerful testimony. Thank you so much for sharing on the power of prayer from the family of God. When I got cancer it was the wall of prayer that strengthened me during my major surgical operations one of which put me into ICU. Amen and amen
