watched it opening day, 14 years old, in Mumbai of all places at the infamous mumbai theatre (don't know the name) full house as they say, fucking experience of a lifetime in actual film too, because this was 1995
@@robberyexpert Se7en was released in India in 1995? And that too house full? But i'm sure most people in India were going crazy over DDLJ than Se7en. But i hope they release this film in India. Because watching it on IMAX would be a brilliant moviegoing experience.
And thanks to Ridley Scott for inspiring David Fincher - we all stand on the shoulders of giants. But Se7en is still one of the best movies by far out there. It is timeless and was copied many times but never surpassed in my opinion.
SPOILER ALERT: 1:42 Brad Pitt saying “what’s in the box?” And then the trailer immediately cutting to Gwen Paltrow’s face is some nasty editorial work.
Yep. 1080p makes it look like it's been DNRed. The Abyss was the same - it took until someone found a ProRes for us to realise that it wasn't overly DNRed like T2 was.
Saw this when I was 17 in a half filled theater...with my mom. She walked out with an hour left. I sat there mesmerized by then horrors depicted. No movie since then has had that effect on me.
Yikes! Experiencing this film in IMAX(especially something like the chase scene between Brad Pitt and the killer) would be so intense! It's great that this film is getting this opportunity.
Definitely not missing this in the IMAX!!! Well, the one by me is a dump and not really taken care of and they don't kick out people who talk or use their phones....Soooo road trip I guess 🤣
How 30 years! This looks like a brand new movie
Я ещё в 94 ом, покупал фирменную видеокассету. 😊
It's had a 4K restoration.

Se7en is one of those movies, you can watch it endless times and never get bored. And to watch it in theatres would be another kind of experience.

We can all thank Se7en for inspiring Matt Reeves to create *The Batman*
@@WaterMeLoan64 I didnt realise to this day but those both movie are my all time favorites
And Zodiac (2007). Matt Reeves seems to be a fan of David Fincher's works.

One of the most iconic crime thrillers of the 1990s. And it's back in cinemas before the 4K comes out. What a genius marketing ploy.
Asking what's in the box for almost 30 years!!!
love what the trailer cuts to right after he screams whats in the box, that was some brilliant editing.
Looks fantastic. The dark stuff is visible but still dark enough. Really nice trailer too. Well edited. Hope I get to see this in theater.

This trailer should have been upload in 2160p... The bitrate at 1080p is plain bad.

One of the greatest films ever made.
The first movie I ever watched literally at the edge of the seat.
Yikes! Experiencing this film in IMAX(especially something like the chase scene between Brad Pitt and the killer) would be so intense! It's great that this film is getting this opportunity.
