I love how you and Austin care about having your ancestors things, don’t ever lose that. I spend hours doing genealogy and have gone back hundreds of years on my family but don’t have any belongings. I do cherish a sword my grandfather gave me they took from a Japanese officer in ww2. Also that’s some really nice deer, congratulations on y’all’s house.

I had to chuckle when Cory told Austin he got lucky with her, it reminded me of my daughter and son-in-law. I took a picture of my son-in-law, showed it to him, and he said the same thing to my daughter, they have been married 30 years, she smiled at him and said, yes, you’re quite the catch. 😊

My three sisters and I grew up drinking well water that wasn't filtered and two of my sisters have battled cancer with one passing in 2018 and one in remission, might not have been the problem but you're better safe than sorry as they say. My water filter thing very similar to yours said you need to run the filter, flush it for a full 5 minutes. It flushes out the excess carbon that filters the water. Your place is so cute and coming together as fine as frog hair.❤ LOL The friends on the floor....lol...I had my head turned for a second to sneeze and when I looked back I saw the "friends"....I was spectin to see people. 🤣🤣

Corie, a good cleaner for stainless sinks, showers, tubs, etc; is Barkeepers Friend. I have used it for over 20 years, have not found anything better. Its available from Walmart. As a suggestion, you could spray paint the lamps in the master bedroom, and then they will match with the same color. I think that would look really nice! xo
Love the Roll up windows blinds you have up.....that is what I have....I live close to the Road but across from a field, so I don't roll mine up, I just opened them every day all the way.... I use a Valance at the top too, mine are lace neutral color and no need for curtains or drapes..... you will enjoy all the light you get in.....
I have a suggestions....where you live with those nice big windows, I'd leave ALL drapes & curtains left opened during the day and get the nice light in.... First thing I do when I wake up is open my bedroom shade all the way to to top and go in the other rooms and open them all and just have the nice bright light from outside showing in.....just seems to make me feel better..and I do not close any of them until dark....and when dark comes I will close them all.... or if the Sun is too bright and coming in and we're trying to eat, or watch tv....then I will close them a little .....I rarely have to turn any lights on inside....I get all outside light I need..... My Son has a large home in Fl and you can stand out front and see straight thru his house out to the lake and it is absolutely beautiful...... I always wanted a house made all of windows and not drapes at all, just shades I could close at nite..... just opens the inside up so much and I think makes a person feel better..... You might want to try it..... you really might love it..... LOL.....just a suggestion guys..... LOL

Like you, I have always loves older things. Little Joey is an enticing character. The freckles are a nice comical touch. Re Austin's Pepsi dispenser cooler. When I was at school, the teachers put a similar Coke cooler in the shelter shed to raise money by selling cans of Coke with ring pulls. Firstly an electric power point was put in then the water added and it was loaded with the ring pulls facing up in the cold water. The following weekend some boys snuck in with plastic straws and using them, managed to drink every can of the soft drink between Friday and Sunday nights. We thought it was an hilarious joke but the teachers were furious with the loss of money. From then on the cans were inverted and the machine was padlocked at night. If u wanted to break up the red in the kitchen, maybe think about changing out the cabinet pulls and painting the exhaust hood a lighter complementary color. Funny thing about that TH-cam rule on videos with little kids in them: One of my aunts had copies made of a WWII News Reel that was played in movie theaters before the actual movie. This was before pretty much anyone had a television, although I've heard there were some inventors and whatnot who had the earliest ones. But there weren't any national or local broadcast stations. Anyway, my Grandpa Fleury made the news for being the Army soldier with the most children. So the news crew came to Grandma's house to film them all. I guess they gave the family a copy of the reel, or somehow my aunt got a copy. Then she had copies made for everyone of her brothers and sisters, put on VHS tapes in the 1990s. When CD and DVD recorders came out, I borrowed my Dad's copy so I could get it transferred from the VHS tape, because hardly anybody had a VCR any more. Then a couple years ago I got a copy put on a flashdrive. That's when I uploaded it to TH-cam. Mind you, by that point, nearly half the children who were in the news reel had died at ages ranging from 53 to 89. My Dad was still alive, but has since died, at the age of 82. The eldest currently living child is now 90, that's my uncle, and we just lost his big sister, my aunt, who was 91. I think the only other living child is 85. There are two others who were born after the war. But when I uploaded that news reel video, not a single one of those children was under the age of 75. Obviously they weren't children any more. But because the video has children in it, even though they're all grown up, and many of them passed on at ripe old ages, TH-cam still will not allow comments!
I think it is very cool that he wants to keep the saw and that it means something to him. but the heads,,,, lol, to each his own and hunting is defiantly necessary

Most every room in my grandma’s house had a deer head on the wall, there from as they say the most southern Indiana you can get, when, it comes to location. The picture with the name you were trying to pronounce, you were right on the money, it definitely sure is a n, I can’t show you what a cursive r looks like but, the best way to tell you where a regular printed r looks like this a cursive r ( small r) looks like a slanted little bridge, is the best way to describe it.

I loved the Little Joey skits! Corey and Austin your house is becoming a beautiful gem. My dad never hunted but, lots of my uncles and cousins did on my mom’s side did. Most every room in my grandma’s house had a deer head on the wall, there from as they say the most southern Indiana you can get, when, it comes to location. The picture with the name you were trying to pronounce, you were right on the money, it definitely sure is a n, I can’t show you what a cursive r looks like but, the best way to tell you where a regular printed r looks like this a cursive r ( small r) looks like a slanted little bridge, is the best way to describe it.

You can easily get a taller spigot which is nice for filling and washing larger pots, etc
