I honestly can’t see any legitimate reason Lewis wants to keep the relationship a secret. It’s not like he’s married or something. Literally who in the town would care if he was in a relationship? He just wants to hit it and quit it with no commitments.
There should be a cutscene, maybe 8 hearts with both of them, where you can convince them to be open about their relationship and eventually marry (maybe 10 hearts for both of them)

The cutscene is then all the women gossiping about marnie and Lewis's affair instead. Maybe you can try to trigger it for more exposer. 😊

When you're dating any bachelorette in town and you enter Haley's and Emily's house with a rabbit foot in your inventory. Usually you get exposed there but the rabbit foot causes you to have amazing luck, that's why it is really important to bring one with you. That's one cutscene I know, there may be some other points in the game too.
