Not to mention if you get hooked a solo q surv might simply be right next to you and save you making the perk also useless.

Empathy trumps both Empathic Connection and Alert tbh, it not only gives you the information about who's injured if you want to go around healing, but gives you indirect information about the killer's wherabouts and survivor's actions if they choose not to heal
Cap, you get to see the aura of the killer whe they aren't on you and when your team gets hit, they know where not to go if the killer is still going for them. Also you heal 10% faster
Also Bond is one of the best perk for solo: you have info on where are survs(and which gens are doing for splitting map) and then, you can deduce where the killer is if he is chasing someone in 32 meters from you. Really helpful
Bro just use bond then you can see your teammates in a 32 meter range and you’ll be able to tell where the killer is if he’s chasing someone in that radius as well cause you will see your teammate running
I really like Bond, it shows you all players in a radius of 36m. For example if you are injured you could spot players healing and join them, if a survivor is getting chased and running towards you you can see it, or maybe they are just close so you can stay on your gen. The range is not thaaat big, but for me it's enough :)
Deliverance is great, you can train your looping at the start of the game immediately, seeing if you could make the killer give up or succeed, or you could get a free unhook.
In the 2% of games where you have good teammates, Empathic Connection is also great at telling a survivor who is injured in chase where to avoid if they don’t want to bring the killer to you.
Empathy, distraction, distortion, and kindred is my go to perk set. Empathy shows you where the killer is chasing an injured survivor, distraction to confuse, dostortion to hide and kindred to see where everyone is during hook
I feel like Deliverance should be used when you have communication with the other survivors, not solo q because you can just tell them to stay doing gens and then you unhook yourself right before the 2nd state. Imagine you have deliverance and a random unhooks you right away
I personally prefer Fogwise over Alert since if you are able to hit great skill checks consistently or if you pair it with Stake Out (another one of my favorite perks) it works very well for an aura reading perk and doesn't have a bunch of requirements for it to work
Let’s fix this 1. Fogwise if you are far away and not on a gen your being a bad teammate 2. Empathy I’m pretty sure this is what it’s called that let’s you see all teammates so you can go to them whenever needed 3. I can’t agree more deliverance is a really good solo q perk
For anybody who doesn't know why Empathetic Connection>Empathy. Empathy means your chasing the survivor to heal them, meaning there's minimum 2 survivors not on gens. With EC, you just stay on the gen, the survivor comes to you for healing, get's healed 10% quicker, then you can finish the gen together. Also deliverance is not off-meta. I would've put something like Inner Strength, Clairvoyance, Second Wind, maybe ever Better Together
I run deliverance and self heal because nowadays most ive run into teammates who wont bother to heal you when they find you out of fear of being heard by the killer. Unbreakable is a god send if youve had nothing but matches where the killer is slugging people and its a situational perk but soul guard can get you out of some tight situations too but their has to be a hex perk active for it to do its job
I had this same argument a few days ago about Empathic Connection being a much worse Empathy. Empathic connection shows your aura to teammates. In solo queue, where even p100 teammates are playing heavily on getting dank flashlight/sabo saves - this doesn't help nearly as much as you'd expect, and when you have MMR range opened more to fill spots quicker - it's downright detrimental as you will have second hookstate survivors actively path towards you to turn the killer off. I've seen this happen time and time again. So ultimately what it gives you is...10% extra heal speed - and I can count the times this would have made a difference on one hand in the couple hundred matches I've played as solo survivor this event. Empathy shows you where that survivor was working that gen to 70% and got ran off from.. It shows you where that survivor found the hex totem and got chased off of. It shows you when pallets are getting dropped and if other general pathing information - all while directing YOU the player to where someone could use your help (or heal you if you're injured). This information is absolute king when playing solo and unable to communicate with your team. So much more overall value than Empathic Connection.. And Alert? I get you mention Off Meta perks, but this is such a hard sell when Windows of Opportunity exists, which aside from the obvious effect, shows you when a pallet is getting broken. I won't argue with deliverance, although it does feel bad to have to play passive to not get hooked first - especially with such a heavy Lethal/UW meta for finding survivors quick and early. Having one of your perks invalidated just by getting found first feels awful. I do appreciate the lists though, especially trying to bring attention to less used perks.
I don't see ANYBODY talking about Any Means Neccesary, you can reset pallets and bring back loops if your tram drops a dumb pallet, and the best thing is that because of the aura reading effect, you see where chases are happening, and it's also a mini version of Windows, it's like a spork, it works as Empathy AND Windows, but it isn't as great as either perk, but it saves space for other SoloQ perks, like Self Care, which is the definition of SoloQ perks
Wtf are you talking about. windows of opportunity gives you zero information towards the killers whereabouts so I have no clue why the fuck you're trynna compare it to alert 😂
@@LittleTube466no one is talking about it cause it's mid asf. Also it's absolutely nothing like windows of opportunity outside of them both telling you when a pallet is down. D tier perk
@@drummersammy1Gaming Do you not use WoO and just speak shit without testing it first? 32 meters - more with open handed - I see pallets that are up. A pallet goes down, and I see it, meaning it was just used. that range is all matters - I couldn't give two shits if a pallet is broken 100 meters away in narnia - that has no relevance to me. A pallet broken near by? That means the killer is damn close and more importantly I can quickly see where the next closest pallet is to that. Another reason I can tell you never use WoO - you have to play with an assumption it is used by damn near everyone at high MMR to optimize their pathing. Meaning you can tell where a survivor will path to next once you start tracking based on the pallets dropped in your radius. Ergo, you can tell if the survivor in chase will path away from you, or closer to you based on pallet density. The only value alert ever has is if the killer is close, because if it triggers while they're far away, it has no relevance to me - and WoO covers it well enough at that range. The only other slight value I could see is for when gens get kicked, but that value goes down the more the match is played out and the few gens remaining - whereas WoO gains value as the pallet numbers decrease to optimize your pathing. There is a reason WoO has a 30.47% pick rate and Alert has a laughably low 3.18%. To give perspective - an empty slot is picked 3.07% of the time. Alert is MARGINALLY more useful to the average survivor player than an Empty slot. It just doesn't give value when it actually counts - it's very much a placebo. Kindred was a missed opportunity and empathic almost always gets you put in chase because solo q survivor's love dropping their killers off for daycare
I think they both serve different purposes. Alert mostly helps you midchase and gives you intel at random points in the game. If you get killers that play around pallets a lot instead of breaking them, it's not that useful. Fogwise just gives you an overview what the killer is doing while you are not in chase.
Object of Obsession Is too good perk for soloQ. it's gives u information about killer during chase and repairing generator every 30 sec. bonus effect that u can understand when killer see u with aura cuz when killer sees ur aura u see his aura too. also u can understand which aura perks killer has.

Bond is wwwwaaaaaaayyyyy to under rated being able to see teammates to heal or to get heals, not get them killed, decide to commit to a gen, leading the killer away from teammates on a gen or doing something else, and there are more. makes this a really good perk
Deliverance is awesome and i love to use it but its so damn situational, if the killer finds you first its useless since it only works once , it should get a buff so you can also unhook from the struggle stage,Since the Anticamp Also works in struggle phase
for impathetic...you ever heard of Bond and a Medkit?
Deliverance is the worst possible perk to bring. Because everyone will try to save you even though you can save yourself anyway. They won't work on their gens and they will get you even though you don't need it
I want to try a build that lets other survivirs see stuff like Kindred and Wake up, Empathic is a solid choice. I cant figure the last perk that will be on theme other than maybe boon
Kindred was a missed opportunity and empathic almost always gets you put in chase because solo q survivor's love dropping their killers off for daycare
Last perk is actually meta
Imo fogwise is just a better alert
would you say so?
Yes but for fogwise tou need to be on a gen, get skillchecks to and manage to got very good skillchecks. For alert you don’t need any of those
I think they both serve different purposes. Alert mostly helps you midchase and gives you intel at random points in the game. If you get killers that play around pallets a lot instead of breaking them, it's not that useful. Fogwise just gives you an overview what the killer is doing while you are not in chase.
How did I predict all 3 before the video started? 😂😂
I used to love spine chill
I use kindred, better together, prove thyself and sprint burst for solo and double queue.
Object of Obsession
Is too good perk for soloQ. it's gives u information about killer during chase and repairing generator every 30 sec. bonus effect that u can understand when killer see u with aura cuz when killer sees ur aura u see his aura too. also u can understand which aura perks killer has.
i tthink shadow step can be good if you find a totem right away
"Where med kits aren't a thing" My brother in christ you won't go a single lobby without seeing at least 2 med kits still
Yeah but they're not strong anymore.
Being able to heal yourself vs not being able to heal yourself will always be strong. We've just been utterly spoiled by how busted they used to be. Not being utterly mindblowingly broken doesn't mean its bad@@tbert325
Alert is so underrated
tbh I am a new player but I love bond and kindred when playing solo queue
Alert is sooo good for vision
I use alert helps i a lot. i usually play duo. Got a few others that help
Aftercare and distortion .. aftercare says it resets but it doesn’t. By mid game you’ve got everyone’s aura and they’ve got yours .. great for end game .. distortion allows you not to be the first to be chased when the killer has aura reader at the start and by end game you’ve got more tokens to have your end game aura hidden
For solo q windows of oppurtunity is the best. Just let the killer chase you the whole game. If your team cant do gens there wont be any pallets left and they will die and you can get hatch.
We will make it is the most underrated perk of all time
It allows you to heal your teammates at 100% faster for 90 seconds after unhooking someone. If it is combined with empathic we can have a meta perk combo
Kindred should be on here to fill out the loadout.
Don't get me started on the deliverance curse
deliverance with second wind is op
I'm not against you but my Opinion for the best Solo perk is Off the Record! Saved me a lot till end game,Makes me quiet and also helps me either prolong tunnels or help me save my teammates with its very long endurance time. Protection hit gives you points too
Deliverance is very random perk, if killer find you first, -perk, you should take distortion or something else, because deliverance not for solo, more for party
Kindred is so much better than alert. I know I’m biased, but the simply knowledge of “where is the killer going and do I need to do the save” has won half my survivor games
The best solo killer perk is billys lightborn perk. Its so funny to see trolls try to blind me only to be hooked
i was solo queing and i went on a 15 win streak with windows OTR DB and adrenaline
Im having fun with empathic and autodidact makes the slowed down to 15% slowed with the aura i would consistently get three stacks every game.
I agree with alert but the others make no sense. Emphatic connection just sucks, there are so many better perks you can bring. And deliverance is not an off meta perk, it is literally one of the best perks in the game
Late to the party but I tried empathic and it’s terrible. Your teammates just troll and grief and lead the killer straight to you.
Deliverance is cursed
personally I really like aftercare for solo
Deliverance deliverance deliverance every build should have deliverance
Tbh I use dead hard + Jake’s grunts of pain perk
i rather have claudettes perk to see the injured party instead othersided.
this way they can troll me lesser and i get "alerted" faster when they take the killer to me;)
i really dont want to give my team vision of me of how bad they lately were(all the randoms i have met)
Not having kindred is crazy
Bond, left behind, kindred. Fixed it
