- Ahead of the 250th episode of Heartland and the premiere of season 17, we spoke to star Amber Marshall on the set of the series in Alberta. She spoke to us about what's new for Amy Fleming, the unique set, the longevity of the show, and what fans love about Heartland.

My wife and I have watched every episode, it really doesn't get any better than this , a great family show, which is no more, you get to see God's handy work, looking at the country landscape, if you are looking for something on TV that is not a bunch of garbage this is a show for you and family ❤
I love Heartland series. I never get sick of watching it. And yes I enjoy the scenery the horses the family feel it's like I'm right there with them I hope that this show never stops, even though we all know that sometime in life it's going to have to but for now just keep making it please thank you for such a great great show
I just discovered Heartland last week on Amazon Prime and I'm totally addictive but I'm barely on season 5 & Amy was so young

This comment is meant for Amber Marshall and all the cast members that interacted with Remy. Obviously just watched Season 17 episode 2 where Remy passes away. I offer my sincere condolences for the loss of an intelligent, loyal and loving animal. One of the hardest things about loving an animal is when you have to say goodbye. I know this personally as I lost my heart horse recently and it broke me in half emotionally 💔 Please know that you WILL see her again at the Rainbow Bridge.

funny or memorable, because it wasn't done at all in Season 16??????
This is a great question! I feel that in season 16 that the writers were trying to remove Ty legacy completely to some degree, but he will always be part of Amy and Lyndy’s lives forever and Amy needs to keep Ty’s love alive for her and Lyndy ❤️❤️
I agree that they are doing their utmost to remove anything relating to Ty from HL. They all forget that if not for the Ty and Amy dynamic HL would not have lasted as long as it has. Any normal parent would always speak to their child about the deceased parent. They would make sure the child remembered them and how much they were loved; the fun things they did together. Lyndy is growing up not knowing that she even has a father. Ty literally gave his life saving Amy, yet no one appreciates that; no one speaks of Ty at all. Certainly not the loving family they pretend to be - no family values at all.
@@gaillenewton1840 I have spent the last year stating the same thing. If you go through TH-cam I'm sure you'd find entries that I have made about it. All through season 16.
Yes, the show took a hit without the Ty/Amy love dimension, and has not been very good without it. In my honest opinion Jack is the only reason the show continues, Amber Marshall's acting has been worse since Wardle's departure.

It is a wonderful show i only wish they would give us longer seasons 10 episodes are just not long enough make 17 episodes more is better

TOTALLY SEPARATE FROM HEARTLAND: please speak out about how cruel the lives of Lake Louise horses sent to the Plain of Six Glaciers are. They need to groom that trail and if going then they should use mules (lower center if gravity, stockier limbs). Best: make people walk it themselves!
