Okay guys hear me out Osis killed Blackroll in beatboxing and Blackroll killed Osis in production and judges thought Blackroll was more original yet both were original in their own way and judges chose Blackroll.
I'm not negative. Both are good, but Osis is like wine: every year it gets more interesting to listen. He has very cool patterns, rhythms. At Blackroll, every drop was predictable. I already knew what kind of rhythm and what kind of transitions there would be. I am upset that in such formats it is not your skill that wins, but the ability to make beautiful videos and process sound.
Honestly, Osis might win if he gets only one point between creativity or production. The main problem is the "originality" one. I don't know why Colaps and Jang gave it to Blackroll
@@mrravenb6000because originality is not judged just by sound kit!!!! No hate bro , but using that logic for me inertia wouldn’t be original in 2021 for simplicity and usage of sounds (inward bass + falsetto sounds etc…) Either ways I’m really interested in knowing your opinion for THIS SET why he has more originality , ( it’s very close true ) I would be interested Kind regards .
I can't argue for the creativity, but Originality should be given to Osis. For the production, both are good (but again, Osis should've at least get 1 point on production)
Well for me blackroll transmitted much more originality than osis in this set, however in terms of sound kit well of course osis will be higher but judging the professional details and combos and how he represented the counter with his own set of beats gives for me blackroll winner in a more original composition , Respect your opinion too btw.
points are distributed individually. if all judges thought it was very close but thought blackroll just edged it, then blackroll will get 3 points, not distrubite it 2-1 split... whenever i see these comments on judge voting i question the brain cells of the viewers
If you judge it by the better beatboxing (which in my opinion it should be) then osis takes it everyday. I think when it’s an online and video format, it is also fair to take the video production into account though. Additionally it also doesn’t seem fair that you can make up for mediocre beatboxing by making a good video, and end up in the final of a competition.
@@voltia7174 Just saying that it’s worse in comparison to Osis’. Obviously it’s better than what I or most other people can do, but the best part was his counter and that’s because he did someone else’s beat
@@nasknifeboi Just my opinion, all I’m saying is I’d prefer to listen to Osis than Blackroll, but I understand that these battles aren’t judged solely off of beatboxing. I think you can also admit that Blackroll isn’t as technical or musically switched on as Osis
@@Connor_mpm The format of the competition is not purely beatboxing skills, it's about music production as well, complaining about people winning because they made a good video... for a music video competition (much like BBU) is childish imo.
Nah. The only thing I agree was better from Blackroll was the production. All of the other points should have going to Osis. Osis is a complete artist with style in every aspect. Visually and musically. He makes pieces of Art. Blackroll is an entertainer and sportsman with great stamina for battles but he is no artist. He makes impressive gimmicks
Lol, Blackroll won because he fight the oponent directly, but Dropical, who copied the structure, some sounds and ideas from old Zekka's rounds in the shade, lost. Those who says that Zekka won because it's "Show Me Your Masterpiece" competition, not the "usual battle" - you are absolutely wrong, beacause otherwise Osis would have took it. I don't hate Blackroll, but his beats are pretty repetetive and the visuals aren't having that cool stylish vibe that Osis have. It's not that I'm angry on the judges or something either, I'm just perplexed, because I myself thought that in this case Dropical and Blackroll should win together, or Zekka and Osis otherwise.
@@knaughta.masso-kist5944 Maybe, but Osis' beats you will *only* hear from Osis. Blackroll's beats you will hear repeated by literally every mid beatboxer who has learned lip oscillation and fart bass and a little bit of tech. So already done, so 2010's. At least Osis' soundscape is unique to him.
For me I think the ending of osis’ one was telling of how little prep time and not fleshed out it was. Plus blackroll was always gonna win production, so tough especially since I was rooting for osis. Excited for the finale!!!🎉
Blackroll has to vary the video's structure now I think. The point that is bothering people about being predictable not surprised etc is surely the structure, begin with video disses, then beat, lots of lyrics beat, outro film. it's becoming redundant auto win and you can't get away with this for more than 3 rounds but maybe i'm wrong. The wildcard directly opened with beats it was nice and had this x factor
i feel like this battle was closer than represented by the score. i keep thinking the score would have been different if Osis's round was shown second to the judges.
So deserved to Blackroll! Blackroll is an expert at beating Osis! It is unreal to defeat Osis five times... But don't forget to honor Osis!!I love your style!
Originality should’ve gone to osis all 3 points because nobody sounds like him and he has his own unique sounds. I agree with the other points tho, black roll wins either way.

strange way of judging originality, Hiss' approach resonated a lot more with me. as for production/creativity, i'm not sure that it's really that necessary to embed the round in a scenario, rather do it like the Robin loop rounds with a creative setting throughout. maybe they should've went with complexity instead of creativity if they are also doing production. you could really sense that osis was much deeper in his artistic development and could tell that story with his different sets. blackroll felt more like a chain of random backgrounds for predictable high-energy drops. congrats anyways!
