I totally agree! This is such a great demonstration on how Congress should work. I have never heard Congressman Nadler sound so human and amiable. Great job and way to go Congress.

I want to point out that our wonderful and thoughtful Constitution was written in a time of hope that this nation would thrive under the best of times and survive in the worst of times. I don't think they could have thought of the advances in science, the arts, financial and globalization due to our open market utilized via the internet and other methods like telephones and TV. We have done very well despite out citizens and foes committing acts of terrorism due to unstable minds.
I also want to say this, there is the same things happening, it is just a different day so when people comment, "These days...." they are wrong more often than not. Things like insane acts, illness, danger in the political areena and the moralities of any given thing are only different "these days" in how and when we learn via communication. Everything else is only affected by how often and how many negative behaviors in how quickly and deeply we are informed.
These days, people do all the horrible things they do the same as they always have but it is a numbers game. Too many people and the speed of when we learn about it. I just wish we could turn back the hands of time and prevent the political upheaval of the cult of personality that is lil donny trump. These days Lie Culture is a massive pain jn my Nana rear end. LOL.Please excuse my grammar and spelling, I am not seeing very well today. These days there are more old folk

What did Senator Durbin do that you're complaining about ? All he did was have a hearing on the FBI, to get a report from Christopher Wray. That's routine for both the Senate and the House to do every year.
First, it's refreshing to see both sides working together. Swalwell; never liked the dude however, if he was indeed targeted as he has testified about, I find that disgusting. Let me just say that when the Rights of one individual or group is violated then the Rights of Everyone are Violated. If I were to come across a group like LGBTQ or whatever they use and they are being accosted by some people who hate LGBTQ. I would protect the first group. They have every Right to be in public as long as they are not breaking the Law. It's simply a matter of protecting Rights, no matter who the individual or group is. We as a Society need to exercise our Rights. We must return to civil debate and discussion. If we don't turn things around soon, we will lose what so many have fought and bled for. Don't yell at somebody who disagrees with you; invite them to calmly discuss things.
