Barrel lenghts are somewhat short which is good to get into action. My 460 Weatherby With straight
    Stock
Stock with negative rise to the Heel. Screw Bean Mesquite. Two recoil Reducers installed in the stock, 20 " ported barrel, 600 gr. Bullets loaded to 55,000 psi to compensate for African heat. Muzzle blast is SHOCKING, something to behold. Ear plugs and muffs to the PH and trackers.

The Blaser R-93 is a very strange rifle to some, I sure do like mine thou. I shoot a 7mm RM. Gee's I had it now for almost 20 years, it's like it was yesterday that I wrote the check to The Ruffed Grouse Gun Shop in Old Saybrook, CT. I was going to sell the 7mm RM barrel and get one in 270 It just shot too well so I kept it. I really should take it to Africa.

Firstly, awesome video! Awesome to see a different part of Africa. This may be a silly question but how does burrying the green buds slow the Eland down? TIA
    Keep up the good work!

@@JohnXSafarisExperience I can appreciate that and there is a reason why I do not have my hunts captured on video but I am always interested in bullet placement and where the bullet hits because it is very seldom that any of the hunting videos will show where the shots hit.

The money those blokes could afford to spend on a hunt far outweighed their ability as hunters.

    • @JohnXSafarisExperience

We do hunt in our own country but we spent a lot of money to travel to Cameroon to hunt. Those funds didn’t only support the people but the wildlife too.

@@jyde50 funny because 99.9999999% of hunters has done more towards conservation than you ever will mate. I find it sad how a bunch of slobs who only watches wildlife on TV and has opinions on everything are shouting at the people who actually are out there and helping conserve game species by paying a lot of money to kill very little of the population for the benefit of the species itself

@@zajagter2888 They also don't realize that herbivores that get too old end up starving to death from wearing down their teeth eating tough plants... or in their weakened state, being pulled down by predators that tear them apart, partially while they're still alive.
“I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and the sure knowledge that nature’s ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” - Fred Bear
