It was Ghantasala Balaramaiah who saw ANR in the Railway station and offered cinema roles. ANR shifted to Hyderabad due to differences with Tamil heroes and not because NTR was a mass hero. When he left Madras in 1963, ANR was on top and he was No.1 Hero. Pacha Gaddi koseti song was in Dasara bullodu, but not in Premnagar. Before NTR entered in the field in 1950, by then ANR was a SUPER STAR with films like Balaraju, Keelugurram, Laila majnu etc. and taking Rs.25000 remuneration. Mr. Jaya Kumar Garu repeatedly told that ANR gave competition to NTR, which is a joke. Both were stars and great in their roles. They selected roles to suit their physique. He did not touch classicals like Devadasu, Vipranarayana, Tenali Ramakrishna, Batasari and many more roles, which can’t be touched by any other Hero. Interview is not reflecting the actual greatness relating to PADMA VIBHUSHAN ANR.

This man is telling half truths or inaccurate information about ANR. ANR moved to Hyderabad because of his uncomfortable experiences with Tamil movie industry and also because of his family reasons. NTR was initially against to Telugu movie industry getting shifted from Madras to Hyderabad. In reality till upto the year ending of 1971 ANR was No.1 star in the Telugu movie industry and NTR was close second in stardom to ANR. NTR became No.1 only after 1976 when ANR stopped acting in movies due to heart related health issues and went to USA for heart operation. However NTR continued his super stardom till he entered into politics in 1983. In the year 1975 Shobhan Babu was No.1 hero of Telugu movie industry. Super Star Krishna was the all-time greatest mass hero of Telugu movie industry till date not NTR.
