Record a video of you working on your moves. Show them that you know how to get buckets.
Let the video show your footwork and the fact that you make baskets. Even Kobe passed the ball to the players that put in the work

    Im a center
I have 3 favorite LOW POST MOVES
    1) UP and UNDER
    2)JUMP HOOK
    3) DROPSTEP
i dont face up really. When i catch it to the block. I would BACK DOWN my defender then EXECUTE. when i get doubled i will kick it to my teamate or RE-POST at the same time. What i learned for playing only in the sreets. You dont need to have multiple post moves.. if you know how to execute and to use your mindset. You can execute it properly. im not that TALL or POWERFULL BANGER. If you had decent polished FOOTWORK.BODY CONTROL. Youll gonna be succesfull playing at the POST.. especially when you know how to bang your defender at the right timing..
    Im 5"9
I Play C/F in my school here in the PHILIPPINES.
    i avg only 11 pts.9 rebs 3 assts and 2 blks a game when i play..
Thats why. Im telling all bigman. That you dont need to have multiple inside moves or play like a HACK A SHAQ style to be dominant. Playing inside or in the LOW POST is not about FULL POWER or FORCE.
Its about INTEGRITY or INTELIGENCE to play it. Because you will be up againts bigger.stronger than you or even more athletic than you..

I played a Power Forward and Forward Position when I'm was grade 3 to 6 as of my elementary days in my college I played same positions and the height and skills of players in some wealth universities in the philippines is so much nice and the competitions in different event games are very tough andI learn a lot on them, the pain, tiredness(training) and worries on the beginning of the games gone when my team qualified in finals and become champion I sow my co-members all of them are students they get the hard training and conditioning and also adjustment in food diet to maintain physically fit and avoid overweight I though its a discipline and on that time I applied this techniques as a Power Forward and Forward Position (same of my conditioning and trainers techniques) and its results so good I contribute 10 pts and 6 rebounds 2 assist 3 steals and 6 blocks per game yeah because I'm not a star player and even now I do not playing basketball (because my health issue in kidney (Nephrotic Syndrome I still want to watching some techniques like these). thanks for your video sir. and I hope you can teach more young bloods for their developments

I’m 5’10 and in 7th grade with an okay vert. I can shoot decently from mid range and have a pretty good layup but beyond 15-20 feet or so, I couldn’t make a shot if my life depended on it. My question is, is it possible for me to be a power forward, because I know as soon as my coach sees me, his first thought’ll be “center, no doubt about it” And are there any drills I could try to increase my range?
