- A short video of myself fishing in Thailand at the notorious Bungsamran for all sorts of catfish and Siamese carp. it was very hard fishing due to the staging as all the fish kept trying to get under it, very hard battles bullying the fish out. Hello from Scotland 😂🤣 not sure now but i think it was around $264 US for food, transport, equipment and bait with a guide.. the guide was with me from 7am till 7pm. here is the company i used mate www.bkkfishingguide.com/ the price would have changed probs by now. Just email them and ask for a quote if you are still interested. I don't drive in Thailand that's why i got a guide to take me.. they picked me up from central Bangkok from my hotel. hope this helps 😁👍
Did u gonthere with a guide or they provided you with the guide at the place? How much did it cost for the session?
Hi, i booked a trip with an external company. At the time it cost me $264 US. which included pick up and drop off from hotel in Bangkok plus lunch. I had the guide the whole day which included all fishing gear plus bait. I dont drive in Thailand.. (yet) so this suited me. We actually had our own housey thing to hang around in which had a bed fridgs ect. If you have the money a would highly recomend it. Here is the company i used www.bkkfishingguide.com/
Those Mekongs give you a hell of a workout! i hooked one which just kept going till it ran out of lake before snapping the line. Bummer when it happens. Great video, great fishing park.
This was my first time there. i had aways watch videos about it and decided what the hell lets do it! So i found myself a ghillie and off i went. defo hell of a workout especially when the fish try to go under the platform 🥲😥🥲😥 a great experience though and would go do it again
When you fishing with the float how deep you set the stop knot then. Best regards from Norway🙂🇳🇴🎣🐟
Hi there, the stop knot was around 3 to 5 foot depending on where the fish were at. I changed the depth every so often to try find the fish 👍😁

Roughly how much did you pay in total?
Hi there, when i went the rate was 9,500 baht for fishing all day and was all inclusive of fishing fees, equipment, lunch, drink and transportation to and from my hotel in central Bangkok i went around 7am and got home around 9pm due to the time i left the lake and the Bangkok traffic which was worse because of the rain. It was pretty expensive however I would say it was worth it as my guide was outstanding
