Good morning ReefBum (I feel odd saying that - sorry). Good show and guest. Philipp and his respected business is important to our hobby. For many reasons many which you both talked about. I placed an order last year and as you described very impressed. Your comment about the life left in the bag after removing the rocks was impressive. My display was started with dry Pukani 5 years ago and putting KP's rock next to it there is a visible difference. I guess I'm sort of biased but it really is a great product if one budgets properly for it. Also Philipp is great to work with. We exchanged emails and he even called to confirm shipping due to some possible weather delays. I only ordered 25 lbs but it made it to my door stop in under 24 hours. Floridia to California - impressive.

In the future, you may wish to seed the dry rock with some live.

after the salinity bath what bad crtitters did you end up tossing away ? im contemplating whether or not to do it

I re-homed some pistol shrimp, a couple of mantis shrimp and some suspicious looking crabs.

i just had to break down my tank because of dinos.. first time in 8 years i have ever started wiith dry rock and i will NEVERRRRRRRRRR make that mistake again.. cant wait to get my KP live rock for my next tank ! so many prob with dinos because of all the dry rock tanks thee days
