Bubble alge is a great tank cleaner so long as you don't let them go out of control. Well if they start getting out of control its because you have to much nutrients in the water so if anything bubble alge will show you the health of the tank. Ps bubble alge floating around is cool looking.
Looks great! Really, REALLY looking forward to your plumbing vid, because we're looking at the 350 (as an upgrade to an existing older 55g) and that's the ONE thing that is keeping the 350 from being perfect, rather than the filter socks that come stock. I'm disabled, which leaves my poor wife alone to do ALL the work, so anything that can automate tasks, or at least make them monthly instead of weekly is a berry, berry good ting.
I started with dry rock for my 15g. Worst decision of my life. I’m starting over and I’m going to get some kp rock. Did you have to even cycle after dropping these rocks in?
