I’m from central Texas I just adopted one because it was too gorgeous to pass up so I’m happy to see they can survive here. I doubt it’ll survive in full texas sun so I’m trying to find a place for her
@@general.disdain I’m in zone 9b, Deep South Texas. I have mine in full afternoon sun. They are growing lovely but I haven’t been able to have them flower. I’m looking to add fertilizer to help it.
I have planted my ixora dwarf variety in pot only with potting mix its growing superbly well with blooms should i need to add any fertilizer. Because from where i purchased the plant, they have suggested me not to use fertilizer because potting soil already has fertilizer mixed in it and they said that after one year when potting soil will expire then change the soil is it correctly????
@@BackyardGardeningbySwati thanks for responding. You indeed have the best climate all round the year to grow them. Keep me informed on your upcoming videos.

You can add fertilizer once in 6 months, that is sufficient 👍
How much time they take for blooming
When do you hard prune them? Is there a specific month perfect for hard pruning?
Which fertilizers useful for flowering
very nicely explain
My ixora has only two leaves I grew it with cutting, but it's not growing but it developed it's roots very well, what should I do to grow it
Give it some time, it will grow well in spring, winters are not very favourable for Ixoras
