Gosh I loved this Tammy. My husband was a sheet metal guy so I have a giant roll of this in my stash. Will have to try this on something. These would be cute dangling from a book, a wreath or a door knob. Loved when you covered your tea box with that tape with the underlayment of letters and other embellishments.

I love working with metal tape Donna. It's cool and unique and fun! Really neat that your fella was a sheet metal worker. That takes a lot of talent!

What an awesome video! I just got some metal tape to play with. I was trying to find some techniques that don't use embossing machines, etc. Love how you use what's on hand. I save some egg cartons for mixing paint, now I know what to use the lids for. Thank you for the ideas, super creative using easy to find materials!!

It's really fun to watch the aluminum foil or metal tape age under the influence of paint and rubbing! Cannot wait to see what you come up with!

In ceramics, we used to call that technique of adding black paint to an object and rubbing it off, antiquing. Also, if your paint starts drying up, add 1 capful of water to the paint, shake to mix and it's good to go. Also store your paint jars upside down. Will help prevent that air skin from forming that you sometimes get on top of the paint. Oh, and by the way, that aluminum tape looks great embossed. There is an embossing folder that looks like that embossed sheet metal that truck tool boxes are made of and a strip of that across a card looks really impressive on guy cards!

It can be used on the exhaust. I've seen it used on AC and heat ducts. You can also use it as a decorative element.

@@TammyBrackettDesigns i actually found one made by the same company on ebay! it' has only a single perforator instead of the double. but as far as i could find, it has been discontinued. that will work for me just fine!
it is officially called EK Success~Cutter Bee Bugs "Score Blade". :-)
you have to be careful when buying, because a few of them have a smooth edge and is for cutting and not scoring. there are a few on ebay still.
