2 days holiday.....we purchased tickets for vande Bharat train.
Vande Bharat departs from Howrah at 05.55 A.M.
Reached Njp 1.25 P.M.
Here I describe the detailed journey of our tour.
We stayed in hotel near Darjeeling Mall. In Hotel Dolphin.
One fine morning we went to Mahakal Mandir.Mahakal Mandir stands on the spot where a Buddhist Monesery named 'Dorje-Ling'once stood. The temple ground are filled with colour full Buddhist prayer flags and hundreds of metal bells. Three black rocks ,which are worshiped as Shiva linga .
The temple opens early in the morning and stays open till late afternoon.. vehicle are not allowed in Mahakal Mandir area.
Be careful of the monkeys,they can snatch your food.
