After sight seeing of Kurseong we visited offbeat destination Mahaldhiram.
Mahaldiram is an offbeat tourist destination located near Darjeeling Hills.MahalDiram is hugely popular to people looking to stay in the hills for a day or two in peace .Our stay is inside the tea garden.
The road unwinds through the majestic pine trees and tea gardens all around. The main attraction of Mahaldiram is its untouched pristine beauty. The locals people here are mainly work in the tea plantations and are associated with cultivation. Mahaldiram mainly grows ginger, big cardamom, and cinchona. Also there are some the orange orchards.
The nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri. The nearest airport is Bagdogra.
We stayed here in the Salamander jungle camp Home stay.
