Yes Jimmy, it drove an irrigation pump all its life and then it caught fire and burnt the shed down so i was told. They were popular power plants around here for driving pumps as crude oil was cheap.
Very nice. Love it. How much $ are these in Australia? Would love one, but i dont think they sold them here in Scandinavia. Don't know how much shipping would be to Sweden.
Thanks Richard , I did not need to make that injector after all , I had one from another engine type ( so i thought ) in the shed so i was going to scale it down and copy it but I didn’t need to because it was the correct one. ! Not to sure about the price of these ? Maybe $4 - $5 k.
@@jenkodiesel5768 Well that's nice. Like the Swedish Hot bulb engines. Many of the makers got the same injector nozzle size from 13-35hp. Okay, are they rare over there? Or is it possible find one without loking around for years?
@@YesterdaysMachinery With the injector, that model of engine has a size like no other ones. It was just incredible luck that i had the right one and didn’t know it. The engines are a bit rare and they don’t come up for sale much. I know of one that is on the original transporter that will be for sale one day and the transporter is the most rare part.
I love the 2 strokes, sounds great my first MacDonald I brought turned over and when I opened it up there was no piston haha to me.
Wouldn't have had alot of compression.
That settled down nicely.
The Ruston is next mate.
@@jenkodiesel5768 good work about time too! I hope you set it up with a robison pumping out of the river
What a beauty! Seemed to settle in after a while even with the governor slack. Runs well. 👍🏻
Thanks mate.
Nice sight glass 😉
Yes mate, and you get a mention in the follow up video too !
@@jenkodiesel5768 thanks mate
Now this is good to see 😃
Thanks Jonno . Now , where’s your Macca start vid ?
@@jenkodiesel5768 haven't made a video of it yet mate, I'll have to get one done 👍
Nice job , do you know what it was used for in it's previous life ? 👍👍🇺🇸

Would look nice after a restoration what a machine that is makes my lister D look like a toy
Yes it is big but i have engines much bigger. I restore the inside only because i like the look.
@@jenkodiesel5768 well that's good keeping originality is key they tend to keep value when original too

Is it water cooled
Yes it is. Just for the first run or two i blanked off the outlet and filled the water jacket with water.
