If you want to do it on your own, I can share some insights. It will be less, if you are going as group. 1. You will be landing in DMK airport, If it's suvarnabhumi, you can catch bus from there to pattaya. If DMK, you can catch a bus to Mo Chit 2, you can catch a bus or van to pattaya from there, van - 450 bhat, bus - 150 bhat. same way you can come to bangkok. Go to Pattaya AC bus terminal, You can catch bus to pattaya. 2. Travelling within the pattaya - Bhat bus - 20bhat for single person, or book grap bike, ask them to ride 2 person, They will ask extra, But cheap. If you are group of more than 4 people, you can ask bhat bus to take you to your destination. Renting motor bike would be costly compared to other parts of thailand here. Police will be strict too. 3. Entry fees - 500 bhat for sanctuary of truth - worth it with guided tour. There is a place on exit, that's a great photospot, don't miss it. Columbia Aquaverse = 1000 bhat Tiger park - 500 bhat varies Koh Larn island - from 2000 bhat, Please check what are included and what not, Better book there in pattaya, compare with different places, otherwise, some people might scam you. Most of the Pattaya hotels will have pool, book what you like and within your budget. Art in Paradise: 400 bhat Alcazar show: 800 bhat Floating market: 150 bhat - Lot of scam becareful Visit local night markets for food. In bangkok, Entry fees - Wat pho (Recliing buddha) - 300 bhat, Grand palace (Emeralde buddha) - 500 bhat, Visit Flower market nearby at morning, I would suggest to go flower market first in the morning, take pictures, go to wat pho and Grand palace before lunch to beat the heat, carry mini fan, cap, sunscreen etc, you will end up taking tons of photos from here, so be ready with your best looks. Go to Na Phra Lan Tunnel, rest there for a bit. If you are interest, go to Wat Arun (200 bhat) for taking pictures. If you are able to complete all before lunch, Have lunch at one of the local shop in the boat piers, they will have local food and veg options also available. Go to Mahanakhon (1000 bhat) skywalk, be there early, It will be crowded for sunset view Book dinner cruise, views were worth it, But not the food, Cheap option, Get normal ferry, You can get a cheap ferry for 5 bhat to 40 bhat to enjoy the night view in the middle Don't miss Icon Siam mall, It's must visit, There will be water show. China Town, if you are foodie and want to experience some local food. For shopping - Chatuchak weekend market and night market for cheap, MBK, 3rd flood for branded items in sale. ground floor for clothes. Platinum mall and Pratunam market for clothes, footwear and bags You can split the places into 2 group, one day morning cover all the temples, flower markets and take tons of pictures and evening go to river cruise or skip the river cruise go to icon siam mall and chinatown, take short ferry ride for city view. Second day morning go to MBK mall, Platinum mall shopping, evening sunset at skywalk and go to Chinatown if you missed previous day or go to any night market/sky bar. I would suggest 2 days in pattaya & 3 days in bangkok, if you like shopping. 3 days in pattaya and 2 days in bangkok, if only sight seeing. If you are going on your own, you can skip the places, you care less and spend more on what you like. FYI, Thailand is easy for 1st time travellers, So no worries. People are polite compared to our Indian brothers and sisters. Use Grab app for booking can or bike for first 2 rides, you might get some discounts. Public transport is pretty much easy, you can follow the google map, or show it to someone next to you, they will guide you.
