    This is amazing! Just starting out on my clawhammer journey after years playing guitar and have been struggling to find good resources to learn but this is exactly what I needed. Many thanks from Manchester, England.

    Hey there trent thanks for this tutorial im just wondering why banjo songs are play so fast dough the sound great some waltz songs are lovely played maybe im just looking for excuses for my slow play still il get there eventually

      @@terrymurray9818 I usually play a lot of these songs at their normal speed (more or less), but I’ve found that plenty of songs songs sound just as great when played slower. Often times it can bring a whole new dimension to the song.
      I will try to do a waltz in an upcoming lesson, I’ve got a backlog of several lessons I’ve been working on and writing tab. Clawhammer waltzes have a distinct right hand pattern and I’m glad you brought it up as I don’t think I’ve done a lesson on one yet. Good opportunity to showcase a different technique.
