Now that the new machine is installed.. Nick has been keeping the dyno busy.. but not too busy to share a test or two with everyone on TH-cam. It's time to build some power.

Anybody who has ever heard a beautiful Fender Stratocaster or Gibson Les Paul guitar, plugged into a powerful Marshall amplifier, played by a genius who can bring a tear to your eye one minute, and blast you out of your seat the next, will agree that there's all kinds of music in this world.
As a guy who has been passionate about music and cars all my life, I say:
    Engines make beautiful music too!
Nick, you are the Jimi Hendrix of Engines.
    TRUTH, BEAUTY, AND POWER!!!!

I never liked the look of Australian valiant until I bought a VG Valiant with the 318 Fireball motor.
I remember burning rubber the first day I bought it. Could help smiling like an idiot. 😅👍
I used to race my mate to work.
Him in his Ford 351 and me in my Valiant 318 boy did that thing fly.
      Terrorfying in fact. 😅

Oh the sound of those big block Mopars! Brings back so many memories, tooling around in a friends GTX with a 440, that at just 17 yrs. old I rebuilt the carbs for him when he didn't understand how to do it, and had already been working on them..from when I first helped a neighbor kids dad change engines at age 11. By 20 I was known in the neighborhood as the 'carburetor guy', but that sound..never leaves you.
Then that Sweet Challenger pops up on the screen, and the '70 is one of my favourite yrs.! Sexy from the front And back, along with from the sides..Be still my beating heart! Would love to see the carbs set up properly on the 440, and that 505 with proper fuel pumpers on it! Please do show it when you get those done.

I'm a new subscribe but I've been watching this channel for a few months now. Nick's new Supetflow engine dyno is awesome. I like Nick's Garage because he works on a lot of the classic muscle cars and hot rods that I grew up with. And I've been fortunate enough to own my share of them. Keep up the great work guys! Never get tired of watching this channel. Always something new and interesting going on at Nick's Garage!

That was smart to isolate the center box with rubber dampers because over time, vibrations can do very nasty things to electronic circuit boards. Even with that, you might want to get your assistant's hands on it during testing to see if there is significant vibration. If so, I'd consider isolating the box from the engine stand completely. It might be a pain, but it could be mounted from the ceiling with a bit of fabrication. Think of it as an extended warranty. heh
I'm so glad to see you are back up and running again, Nick!! Congrats!!!

OMG That 440 sounds so sweet and brings back some sweet memories of the Coronet R/T I had back in the day. In fact, I backed it up, put on my "Beats" headphones and watched it again to appreciate the Internal Combustion concerto. I hope to find out the numbers on the 505 next time. I was swooning over that orange Challenger so much, the wife gave me that "What kinda website are you looking at Mister?" stare. Darn Mopar's are gonna get me in trouble again! Mr. Nick, take a tip from an old Data input guy. Use a coffee cup with a lid around that expensive computer equipment. Time for a "Nick's Garage" Travel mug (hint, hint)

The Saturday you recorded this was my birthday. Wish I could have spent it at Nicks in the dyno room! Love your content and absolutely love Mopar. Keep up the good work boss! Justin from Harriston Ontario Canada.

Justin Quesnel. Happy birthday Justin. Would have been nice if you were here in the dyno room. You would have had seen live action. And after all that, would have gone out for some beer.
