@@ethanguitarcovers I been playing along with you this week. Was gonna make a remark about how you're not flat picking even though it's the punk tradition. Turns out the boys dont either! Idk if that was an intentional eye-for-detail thing on your part or not. But I thought it was kinda funny. Rock on!
@@FrokasRl I’m really glad and thankful for your support!! I’m going to cover every song off of Take This To Your Grave in the coming weeks so there’s plenty more fall out boy coming!!
Holy shit dude thank you for bringing it to my attention, I just checked and it’s blocked for copyright reasons but I’m going to try to get it back up.
@@ethanguitarcovers no it's the same shape thats at 0:38 as well, it looks like a G but its very high up the neck, the one you described looks like a C shape that's being barred, I can figure that out but the one I'm describing I can't quite figure out. Thank you for replying, but please tell me describe what shape you're playing at 0:38, thank you again
@@tornaclconor5149 ohhh I’m just playing an octave chord on the 11th fret, 11th fret A string 13th fret G string. And I’m playing octaves on the lead guitar from 0:35-0:44 sorry btw I’m still trying to learning what certain chords are called
@@ethanguitarcovers thank you bro I appreciate that! So you're playing two notes and then muting with the rest of your finger I think? Thanks again, I hope when you have played all of TTTYG you start doing songs from Under the Cork Tree
@@tornaclconor5149 Yes, I’m muting all the strings but the A and G and definitely! That chord shape is really useful because fall out boy use a lot of octaves in their songs
Dude that duh duh BWAH duh duh BWAH at the chorus 😩

STOP BURNING BRIDGES, DRIVE OFF OF THEM!
Sick cover. beautiful guitar.
Thank you!! 🎸
PLS does anyone have the tabs for this song 😭🙏
Hello again :) I’m trying to recreate both lead and rhythm tones on the Line 6 Helix. Do you know the amp and mic settings for each?
For this videos tone I used amplitube 4’s Mesa boogie dual rectifier pack
@@ethanguitarcovers Ah. Do you know the EQ?
@@TheArcGuitar uhhhh, I didn’t do much from what I can remember. I think I I had bass at like 4.5, miss at 6.5 and treb at 6 or 7.
@@ethanguitarcoversSome say that the drive should be low, but I can’t seem to get that awesome lead tone on TTTYG.
@@TheArcGuitar yeah I’m using an 808 overdrive with the drive all the way down and my gain on the amp at about 5
sick guitar man what model is it?
Thanks man!! It’s a Schecter Ultra Pelham
Please can you tell me what chord you're playing at 0:40 I can't figure out the fingering for it
are you talking about the chord at 0:42 ? if so its 4th Fret low E string, 7th Fret A string, and 6th Fret D string. Let me know if that helps.
