Good point, if giants could reproduce with humans as stated in Genesis 6 and the book of the giants and Jasher : why would they need the moon child - a last female giant to reproduce? It also states in this book that the children of giant and woman decent would burst out by the navel killing their mothers...so this book even acknowledges that interbreeding between women and giants were possible, but discouraged.
