For a couple of years now I've been doing my runs with the downshifter 10s and they have proven to be a really reliable shoe, quite durable and responsive. I have a more narrow foot and they turned out to be just right for me, especially given that I am not a very demanding user (my routine is about 3 runs a week, 5-7 k each). The reliability of the 10s got me hooked on the downshifter line and I decided to get another one of these. I decided to skip the new 13s (not a fan of this huge foam and too much cushioning) and have just the other day bought the last year's model, the 12s, on a discount. I hope to get all the responsiveness and durability from them as I did from my old 10s.
Its definitely not a 2 rating shoes. And its definitely One of The best looking shoe in this price segment. The color variant in this video is the most basic one. They are other better variants. So 2 on looks doesnt seem fair although its subjective. For someone who isnt a serious runner or who is a beginner and isnt ready to spend much on shoes. This is one of the best running shoes in this price segment so its definitely not a 2 ratings shoe. Are there other better options?? Probably yes.
Just picked up a pair of these in the grey colour-way, aesthetically I find them a lot better than some of the other budget/entry level Nike offerings. Cushion-wise they’re pretty good, these are a running shoe but thankfully you don’t fall backwards on your heels when resting. This is my general rule of thumb for shoes for light runs and gym where you could be resting more, finding balance when standing. There are some seriously over cushioned heel shoes on the market, not sure what the benefit of those are unless you’re a serious runner with a heel-strike running style. Would be good if you could have run a 10k in them and given a report….guess somethings we’ll just have to do ourselves 😂
Watching this review after buying one...initial experience is not good for me as well, the ankle part doesn't have enough padding and they are biting into my ankle
The Propel v4 has the softness of something like the Invincible and is only 110 US. I suggest checking it out if you can. The first three version were firm so when v4 came out I didn't even look at it but I just saw the review of it on RunRepeat and the midsole scores a 14 on the firmness scale. ZoomX scores about a 12 for a comparison. The Rebel v3 that I previously mentioned is 9.5. Super easy to compress.
Hey i wanna buy a pair of shoes for daily use (gym and college) and comfort Which one would you recommend me to buy from these: Downshifter 13 Revolution 7 Flex experience 11 Flex experience 12 Adidas pure boost 22 Thank you ❤❤
I didn’t like these I have flat foot I work 8 hours I be getting home tired but when I go out for a while or go walk I’m fine I wouldn’t recommend these if u are working 40 hours but for just the casual sure as someone who has plantar ficiitis Il I recommend sketchers arch they are great
Just wanna say (again), thank you so much for doing this. Love the work you do here on your channel!
🙏🙏 really appreciated 🐄

How were the 12s?
@@hoxyho they are ok, but not as good as the 10s. They feel a bit too heavy. So I still prefer to go for a run in the old 10s than in these.
Hey so you mentioned about the narrow foot but I have quite the opposite thing. Got a wide foot. Do you know any good shoe for casual runs?

At this price better options? Name them please.
I agree. These shoes look really nice. I would give it 4/5 for the looks.
I use these shoes for my everyday runs, and they were definitely worth the money for my first half marathon last January.

I love the concrete edge cushioning test you do, this shows exactly what I'm or I'm not looking for in a midsole.

What did you buy finally
when compared Downshifter 12 vs Revolution 7. Would you still suggest Rev7 over DS12?

?
Nike review! Is it true to size? I wear euro 42 265mm?
I just bought this, is it really that bad? Should i cancel and get revolution 7 instead?
Is it better than Revolution 7 for a 10km run? I think I'll be doin the run once. After that it'll be for below 5k run/jogs.
Does it support flat feet
I have big wide and their lightweight and comfortable
better this or quest 5?
Can these be also used for casual errands
I have flat feet and stand all day at work so I do need a pair of shoes that will offer good enough support to help
Skechers Arch Fit
Got the triple black variant of DS13 and after about 90 km of runs, i find them to be good and certainly better than DS12
Nike juniper trail 2 vs revolution 7 ? Which is best bro ?
I'm planning to buy downshifter 13 but I'm wide footed, my regular shoe size is 12 US should I buy size 12.5 US or 13 US? Thank you.

between 13 and 12 which cushion is better? for somebody with backache
The 13 feels way better than the 12.
Hey i wanna buy a pair of shoes for daily use (gym and college) and comfort
Which one would you recommend me to buy from these:
Downshifter 13
Revolution 7
Flex experience 11
Flex experience 12
Adidas pure boost 22
Thank you ❤❤
Downshifter
For weight lifting? None of those
I think the looks of the Downshifter 12 are better in terms of colorway and color choices
What do u prefer down shifter 12 or 13 thanks
Damn, please never use running shoes for the gym.
Use a flat shoe sole instead
Kindly review the adidas duramo rc
How's the fit?
Which has the softer cushioning? 12 or 13?
According to most reviews, 13 is much better cushioned
@@seeker19030 I guess most reviews are wrong. I just tried it on at the store, the 13 is much firmer than the 12.
Plz reassess the shoes one more time, I don't think these are 2 star ratings shoes. Thanks.
Plz suggest me better shoes at this price
Are these the extra wide ones?
No just standard
Is it comfortable for flat footed? Man
Get the free run extra wide
can these be used for training and gym?
Running sure not weight lifting. U want a flat shoe or a raised heel flat shoe
renew run 4 or downshifter 13?
Nike Downshifters 13 or Nike Revolution 7?
Rev 7 🐄
