I like your list, especially the fact, that it has "Contagion" on it. As you said, an often overseen and forgotten episode. I think it contains so much Star Trek in it, that it is my favorite episode of all Star Trek.
I gave this video thumbs up, but leaving out both "inner light" and "chain of command" are serious oversights in my opinion… But, I do agree with you that it's hard to make a top 10 list

Definitely a great list! Alot of mine are here but some I would include would be Who Watches the Watchers and Measure of a Man. The neutral zone is always a fun watch too. Too many to make a top 10 lol
Most season 2 episodes are underrated. With a couple exceptions, LOL. Nice to see your objectivity to seasons 2 and 1. Inner Light and Chain of Command are good, but with some plot points too big to overlook. I've rewatched more season 1 stories than those two. Best of Both Worlds outdoes QWho for showing their terrifying nature, but QWho's introduction is definitely very spiffy.
Good mix of episodes My one very small nitpick with Cause and Effect is when the Bozeman captain is talking with Picard he shound be questioning why his ship design is far advanced and the uniform changed and when Picard mentioned he was captain of Enterprise Bozeman captain should have said you are not Kirk or Spock depending on the year which I think was before Trek 2 but after Trek 1 But it has zero impact on my love it it just a small thing Conspiracy I love I really wish they did a followup That ending was creepy with the homing signal Each week I was hoping would be the week they did a sequel episode I really was hoping Picard season 3 did a followup as the plot
I heard that the aliens in Conspiracy were originally going to be the overarching villain across TNG, but after season 2 they went with the Borg instead.
@@nuclearfilms3341 yes and think initially they were going to be more directly tired to Borg as a sort of scouting tool for them. Still overall can’t complain as TNG was a great series

I had to wait to watch the second part of Best of Both Worlds. My family watched TNG together, and we were all amazed. Great cliffhanger.

I had to wait all summer for Best of Both Worlds Part 2 after Part 1 originally aired. You have no idea how torturous that was.
