This is the first game my mom has ever wanted to try out herself. She enjoyed it even if her hands couldn't figure out the controller. It may have flaws, but at least it's mom approved carnage.

The only thing I don't like about this is the main mech's design: too bulky, not that appealing to me, seems more suited for submarine/space operations with those huge weapon tanks behind its shoulders that look more like afterburners, wish there where drones flying over your head when you needed weapons. That aside, the memes this spawned suit this era much better, almost glad it actually came out later at a better time :)

That shit really lets you speed up the drudgery of having to shoot everything early game since it does a fuckton of damage and you can sonic bounce off enemies/buildings angling it right. Wish this had come out here back then, maybe we would have had a sequel. Nice to have it here now though.
Assuming you meant that it would have been more appropriate to throw shade at Fox instead of CNN, I’m not sure that is inherently clear. Certainly Fox has a right wing bias, but I hardly think it’s overall bias is somehow uniquely egregious compared to a huge number of other networks. Just a thought. Otherwise good review.

You should try and play "Snatcher" for the Sega CD. It was directed by Hideo Kojima and has an immersive cyberpunk setting, you might like it.
