Sounds just like my laptop. Only joking, looks like a quality item and I'm guessing from the heat demonstrated it's a class A device, Nice. I would love one but it would be wasted on my old ears but it's still a beauty.

It is a beauty indeed, but for the money they are asking, I could come up with some better options. I have vintage pieces already that are class A the 550 would have a hard time trouncing in sound, definitely not in specs. That's a lot of money for 50watts.

I had one 40 years ago. One of the few amps Luxman made, who gave the their name. Most other, like their Laboratory Ref series, were shit! Ps, and far to many useless controls on the L550, it would have even sounded better without these idiocy!
