Thanks for a great review of my game, it's much appreciated and I'm really glad you're enjoying it!
Entering the game via a teleport 'fast forwards' you to that point in the game, so you'll automatically pick up weapons, loot and other upgrades as if you'd started a new game from scratch and had played through to that point, i.e. ensuring you're never underpowered at the start. In this way the game can be played as a series of runs that get progressively harder, unlike most roguelites/likes that make you start from the beginning each time.
