Nah, you need team attack enabled. There are waaaaaay too many cheese strategies that are available if it's turned off. The Luigi clip in question is a rarity, so much so it has its own name: "The Luigi Ladder." Luigi Ladders have been banned from tourneys since the start.

I first did this on CPU Bowser when I use Hocus Pocus and I get tiny, I use Tiny Whack and it killed him when he just ledge get up and stood there and say: “Really… What this little whack supposed to do?” And it killed him at 37%!

Technically did die to laser since instead of rolling or jumping away from scintilla, he activated it, causing him to be in animation lag. Lol

So idk the rules of the tournament in that last clip but isn't that luigi up b thing seen as stalling? stalling can get you DQ'ed in a large amount of tournaments

4:02 idk why you would ever think your inkling fair would kill bowser at 84 before the hit unless you are literally inside of the blast zone lol. I mean I guess he doesn’t know that ink doesn’t increase knock-back or that you should never trust the kill flash.
Seriously the kill flash in this game is more of a sign that at the very least someone could die with the worst possible DI, but even then it sometimes triggers when there is no chance in a few scenarios,
