I live in Palm Harbor FL. We lost power until 6am something this morning. Yes I don't like having shutters either. They make the whole house fill like u'r in a cave because of how dark it gets in the house. But at the same time I am grateful we gave them for protection over the windows. I live with my parents and my adult daughter in a 2 story Town house made of stucco and concrete. Plus we have a generator.
We got lucky & our power stayed on this time. They buried our power lines last year. We gave our generator to a family member who still is without power. I’m so grateful we are all okay. 💕

It's so beautiful. I heard from Cari, my little red head, "Mary Beth," is staying with her for a while safe. She was going to send me pics, but I told her she was my Christmas baby!❤❤ she loved that idea and is picturing her in her red Christmas dress❤❤😊 can't wait!! Stay safe, friend, I'm thankful to hear you will be safe , and your family. Jerry and I have been watching those brave guys on the weather channels keeping us posted. ❤❤

Hope you're all ok and didn't suffer any damage. Florida got hit hard with two hurricanes it's shocking and sad. Hope no more comes your way. I thought Milton would have come through Louisiana where I'm at before it took a turn towards Florida. 😢😢
We are all safe here, I was lucky & my home is safe. I have already lost a home once & we rebuilt & recovered after 3 years. I won’t do it again. I will leave Florida. The storms are getting worse with the warmer weather. Where do you go anymore, without the threat of natural disasters?

Watching this video while anxiously waiting for the sun to come up so we can go check if we have a home to go home to. We are out of storm surge zone but still got some pretty intense winds. Lost power at home last night so I can not check cameras.
