I'm shocked Blackberry decided to disperse first! He seemed so close with the rest of the pack and Sinikka was acting up a lot so i genuinely expected her to leave before any of the others! Wishing them luck on their adventures out there ❤
Males do have a higher chance of dispersing than Females so I’m not terribly surprised, they do have a chance to come back after a few months on their own if they don’t find a mate so he could come back!
I think because of his red belly and the berry boys theme Raspberry would be a good name for 31m Also im gonna miss blackberry and Aretha. I hope they survive and thrive, and doesnt become a problem later on. I also am curious to see if Aretha stumbles upon glitch.
It is so sad that Blackberry and Aretha dispersed but we will always remember them! A name suggestion I have for 31m is Rojas because he looks red and I think it is a cool name! Keep up the great work!
Aww, Blackberry was the first to go?! He was one of my favorite wolves, so sweet with the pups. I hope we get to see his story with future pups of his own one day. Good luck Blackberry and Aretha!
Blackberry was my favorite pup of the first litter so the fact that dispersed made me so sad! Also can you name 2229F Phoenix? It fits her personality well I think
Oh my gosh, I forgot that older pups will disperse! My heart aches a little to see them go! Would love to see Blackberry and Aretha's stories carry on, they've been so fun to watch thus far.
I'm so jealous of how the Wayfinders pack are going. I have 4 subs, 4 yearlings, and 4 pups. My 4 yearlings are about to be subordinates, and none of my subs have dispersed. As much as I love my first pups, it's hard to feed 13 wolves, spike elk doesn't last very long either. The chances for my subs to leave are pretty even, I have 2 males and 2 females. One of my subs I want to stay is a male but he's named after the pack and i want him to take over 🤣
5 of mine dispersed. 2 became rival pack leaders. Suddenly my save has taken a dramatic, somewhat dark turn. So yeah😅 i was hoping for some of them to come back for a little 😭
If you group your hexes in groups of three where the hexes meet it makes it a lot easier and much more efficient to mark. It's a tip I learned when playing multiplayer and I think anyone having trouble with territory should think about trying it. Just find the border between two hexes then follow it either N or S to the next hex and put your sent posts there, so much better I promise!
My wolf, Ash, he's raising his third litter in the saga, and his only pup to disperse was Ocean, from the first litter. She decided to head off as a yearling, as the second litter was in young hunters. It's fun seeing her around, she hasnt found a mate yet so is still quite friendly with the pack. We even let her have some of our kills. It'll be sad when she finds a mate, but I kinda want Ash to have grand babies so I also hope she finds one soon, especially as she's almost 3
I've had 4 pups disperse from my founding pack, and two brothers even left together! I've also had a dispersal female lure one of my other boys to start a pack!
Castor was the oldest and best big brother from my first litter. He dispersed with his brother Apsu. He was very much like Blackberry in personality and he dispersed just yesterday as of this comment. I love him with all my heart and I'm going to miss him so much. His younger sister Atia was absolutely obsessed with him and the two of them were BEST FRIENDS. She even turned out to look exactly like him. They were always together. I like to imagine she looks a lot sadder without her big brother and best friend around to back her up. I will miss Castor and Apsu so so so much. Reclamation Point pack is all the weaker without their determination!!... and now Blackberry and Aretha too! GOSH I loved him dearly. I wish him luck on all his future endeavours!!
So, it may actually be difficult to emulate the Druids when they were at their peak. I don't know if performance would handle such a thing. A pack of 37 would make hunting an almost impossible task as well, as you would always have hungry mouths. It would be nice to toggle dispersing off just to see what happens for the sake of chaos. I was hoping to at least make it to a pack size that makes it more possible to hunt Bull moose and Bison though, both of those would require a lot more bodies.
can't play wolfquest anniversary adition yet- can a pack sucsessfully take down a bull moose or bison on lower difficulties, or is it just genuinely impossible to do it without killing a few of your wolves in the process.
@@beelunder8433 On easy, my breeding pair took down a bull moose. Both received major injuries. It was on about half-health, next to the den. That's the only reason I went for it. On a second save-file, I decided to take over a Rival pack, I inherited a large pack of Four subordinates, six pups, and my breeding pair. I raised all six pups to young hunters. On their first outing, I ran up on a bull moose, decided to bite it to see what its health was on. When I saw it was at full health, I backed away, but packs are slower to give up the chase - even if you wine or bark for them to follow you. It one-shot killed one of my young hunters. You definitely only want to try it when you have pups in the den and your subordinates as adults. Even then, a bull Elk got my wolf down to 20% health. My hunting party was 7 wolves, and 5 of the 7 received injuries. On easy. I personally wouldn't take on a Bull moose or Bison, it isn't worth the risk of major injuries. Healthy subordinates make this game very easy with raising pups. They engage predators and successfully chase them off without much effort. Keeping them healthy and fed is the better strategy and sticking with Mule deer and cow/calf elk. Keeping rival packs from breeding also makes the game easy... whenever they raid your territory, picking out and killing one of them eliminates any chance they have at raising pups the following year. Taking out the pack leader also increases the odds of the rest of the pack dispersing entirely as well. You almost have to kill a wolf to end the raids anyway, so you might as well focus on pack leaders.
Aden: DON’T YOU HAVE YOUR OWN PUPS? WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO STEAL TERRITORY? Buffalo Plateau leader: idk. bored. Seriously where do these packs find the time? XD
Mine just had their first pup disperse at the end of young hunters for the third litter. It was just one female 2yo, but she wasn’t the one I expected to go first.
Wait you get a option to save a file for the Dispered packmatee?? I've had several Disperse but the pop up to save a file for them or play as them has never showed up.
I would like to know if the game makes wolves Disperse at random ages. Like some wolves will stay subordinates for 4-5 years with the pack, others will disperse maybe between 1-3 years? Idk!
The game may have decided on Blackberry to leave the pack, but he thinks otherwise, looked like he wanted to really stay... thats the hardest part is when they decide to disperse, and its like "no please stay" 🤔😔
I KNEW IT! I knew it was Blackberry. The males are much more prone to dispersing than females. Hold on to your young sons' tight y'all. They may leave more sooner than your daughters
Great analysis, thank you! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
I’m jealous u have so many wolves!! Me with only my mate and one yearling 😢😢😢😢 poor bamoral his three subs died two in young hunters one from a wolf attack at only three months old the other two died at five months conarvon died from a bison Killarney died from elk nightingale is my mate

After being so close to his little siblings he just couldnt wait to have his own pups 😭
Man ikr he wanted to have his own pack to raise pups the best he can hopefully they don't die
I had a feeling to be honest. Wishing him the best!! 💕
He might come back after a bit

I’m imagining Blackberry rn telling Aden “go bite an invader for me ok dad?” before going off on his own

Keeping the berry name in the family I like that lol

Bear decides to come: " snack time!"
Kenai : oh so we meet again Mr. >: 0
lol
Interesting fact, the packs usually travel and invade as a single large group if they don't have pups that spring
It is so sad that Blackberry and Aretha dispersed but we will always remember them! A name suggestion I have for 31m is Rojas because he looks red and I think it is a cool name! Keep up the great work!

Fr that pup is pure madness lol she's quite the rebel one.
Awe a cute name for 31m could be Mulberry or Cranberry. I also still think River, Brook, or Wyre would be an adorable name for one of the pups!
What about Cloudberry and Elderberry?
NICE EPISODE! As always. Its kinda sad to say goodbye c,: but hey! thats the life of a wollf!
I totally didn't get emotional over Blackberry and Aretha dispersing... nope. Something's just in my eye.
just something in our eyes 100%

I might try that with a new save! Thanks, heard about it!
Good luck with Wolf College, Blackberry
Hi jay! I think you should name 223M Canyon, or Redwood, for his red-ish coat color
2231M *
A sad but proud moment for the pack!
That shall be the alternative or something title.

Everytime you start a video it starts with an attack XD
No but fr xd
I’m wondering if sinnika’ s going to leave soon too…
Probably!
2231M has my wolf’s mates coat! Its definitely very red
Tell me why I actually cried seeing Blackberry wag his tail in goodbye 🥺
No idea, but it was cute though.. ❤
Two of my 1 year olds dispersed near the end of young hunters, my two females from the first litter. I was so surprised to see that pop up.
I guess they disperse whenever they want xd
I like the name Magpie for 2231M! His coat reminds a lot magpie markings!
True, actually. xd

Yeah, feeding so many mouths is tough.
hopefully we get to see Blackberry sometime!😋
Yep!
Aden: DON’T YOU HAVE YOUR OWN PUPS? WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO STEAL TERRITORY?
Buffalo Plateau leader: idk. bored.

No ides, they just seem to have the time, i guess. Probably get siblings to babysit while they continue being a nuisance.
Mine just had their first pup disperse at the end of young hunters for the third litter. It was just one female 2yo, but she wasn’t the one I expected to go first.
Shame Blackberry and Aretha are gone, we wish them luck out there!! ❤
Yep!

Interesting, maybe a bug report will do something?
Just to say if Your pup disperses And is a rival pack They will attack you

Yes, it’s random. They leave basically when they’d like.
Noooooo why did they leave I wish they never left
Same..
The game may have decided on Blackberry to leave the pack, but he thinks otherwise, looked like he wanted to really stay... thats the hardest part is when they decide to disperse, and its like "no please stay" 🤔😔
True..
What coat does Huckleberry have? Because it is really pretty
that coat is Little T, from the Building Character DLC. (Jay’s got all DLC’s.)
And yeah, it is pretty! Looks similar to my neighbour’s dog, lol.
I vote the name Hawthorn or Yewberry for 31M! Hawthorn trees produce red berries and yew berries are also bright red!
I KNEW IT! I knew it was Blackberry. The males are much more prone to dispersing than females.
Hold on to your young sons' tight y'all. They may leave more sooner than your daughters
Yeah, def will have to do that… the fact i seem to love males more, though. Idk why xd
@Kat-hh7fz I'm the very same xD males generally just have more brawn :D
I would love to see 31M be named Akira! I think it's a very pretty name and it means "clear" "intelligence" and "anchor"!
Name idea Athena or rainy❤❤
Or story
Athena fits with the pack well, and Rainy is a cute one! Would def be good for either another black wolf or even a silver-blue coat.
will you name a pup Eden? i think thats a pretty name for the 2232F :)
Eden is definitely a pretty name for some of the pups so far! (including the ones 1 and older, lol)
By blackberry he was my favorite one😢😢
