In regards to Notre Dame: If you know nothing else about Notre Dame it is that the university recognizes, embraces and celebrates their history (even in this day of trying to disregard and erase history - the good as well as the bad) That being said, The University of Michigan taught the game of football to Notre Dame and they formed their football team back in 1887. Then, ND proceeded to go 0-8 against Michigan the first eight games. Game nine in 1909 saw Notre Dame upset Michigan 11-3 which incensed UM's head coach, Fielding Yost so badly he refused to ever play ND again and banned them from ever joining the Western Conference (later to become the Big Ten), claiming Notre Dame fielded ineligible players, when the official investigation found Yost was the coach that had fielded an ineligible player! In 1918 Knute Rockne took his team on the road, famously to Southern California to play the Trojans, as his and USC's Athletic Director Gywnn Wilson's wives were good friends and Rockne's wife wanted to go to Southern Cal in the middle of winter to escape the cold of the Midwest and vacation with her friend. A vacation for her turned into arguably the greatest intersectional rivalry in college football. Here is the thing OsU offense is wayyyy better than UGA and OsU also has a better defense. We can say a tie on defense for now but OSU has better running backs and receivers and I promise if the Big 12 QB figures Ito it it’s a wrap😂. So UGA has a better QB atm I’d say but I honestly think OSU will go undefeated and win the championship. Our roster is the best in the country and most of our defense came back. We already know OSUs receivers are insane I just doubt anyone is stopping this offense once the qb gets situated and he has plenty of games to figure Ito it before conference play

Do what you want with Penn St., you need to change that Ducks prediction. Oregon gets Ohio State at home and Autzen is an entirely different beast than anything in the B1G, numbers be damned. Seriously, The Big House holds over 100k fans and it only hits 110 decibels. Autzen maxes out at 55k and REGULARLY hits 127-128 decibels and I mean on basically every 3rd or 4th down. It's called The House of Loud for a reason and Ohio State has never once experienced it and this game has been sold out for months. It's almost certainly going to be the largest attendance in stadium history and having been present for the 4th and 5th largest attendance games I assure you that thought is... daunting. That said Ohio State is more than good enough that I could see them getting payback in the conference title game and then we have 12-1 Oregon and 12-1 Ohio State potentially playing each other for the THIRD TIME in a winner-take-all finale. Could be the foundation for the newest big rivalry in college football...
Boise State will lose at Georgia Southern. Boise State was 8-6 last season. You would have been better off suggesting Memphis or Fresno State or Toledo.

Now next year in 2025 they should push for 11 wins given how weak the Mountain Worst (West) is compared to seasons past when definitely stronger and more competitive.
